This is my card for this weeks The Stamp Man challenge 5. The theme of the challenge was 'distressed'.
The stamp set I used for the card was Funky Flowers by The Stamp Man.
I begun by stamping the flower image with Old Olive ink pad by Stampin' Up on cream card. I stamped the flowers again, and also three of the individual flowers, with Rich Razzleberry ink pad also from Stampin' Up onto white card. I used the ink pads to colour in the flowers.
I torn around each of the flowers and added Glossy Accents to the centre.
I also torn around the main flowers image, a panel of dark red and cream card. Using a Stampin' Up sponge dauber I added a distressed colour look to edges with a So Saffron Stampin' Up ink pad and Sepia VersaFine ink pad.
On the large cream background panel I stamped the small circles and swirl image.
I layered the card up. I added the corner flowers with PVA glue. The centre flowers were attached with foam pads.
To finish I stamped a greeting. The greeting stamp is from Butterfly Beauties stamp set also by The Stamp Man. This was attached with foam pads.
Hi there, this is so lovely, beautiful flowers! Love the vintage feel to it, hugs Heidi xx
