Clare's weekly challenge



This is my card for Clare's sketch challenge on the DoCrafts website.

I begun my stamping the Forever Friends bear three times using a Memento ink pad. I coloured in the three images using ProMarkers. I cut out the images and layered up parts of the image using foam pads.



I cut out three red circles using Lacy Circles Nestabilities. Around the edges I added white dots with a white Papermania pen. I added them onto a strip of white card. I cut out an 'I' and 'U' letter using my Cricut and attached them to the smaller circles. This panel was them added on the larger red card panel.



I stamped the same Forever Friends bear image onto a Papermania Kraft card blank using a blank ink pad. I added the centre panel to the card and also a peel off greeting. To finish the card I added Papermania red dewdrops and some additional white dots.

Lavender & Lace



This is my card for this week's I love ProMarkers challenge blog. The theme was Lavender & Lace. I am also entering this card into DoCrafts Creativity! Club sketch challenge.

I begun by stamping the little girl image with a Memento ink pad. The stamp is 'Blissful' by Little Claire's. I coloured in the girl with ProMarkers. I cut the image out and mounted her onto purple and white card layers of Lacy Circles which I cut with Nestabilities with foam pads.



For the background I cut a large square of lilac card. Onto this I added two strips of patterned paper. The paper is by DoCrafts. I used Martha Stewart flower edge punch for the long edges. I attached strips of lace around two corners. I punched two Tiny Tags using Stampin' Up punch. Onto one I stamped 'love' using the Tiny Tags stamps. I added these to the card and a lace bow. I added purple dot around the edge of the card with a fineliner. To finish the card I added gems and DoCrafts fabric flowers.

I love ProMarkers - challenge 49



This is my card for this week's I love ProMarkers challenge blog. The theme of the challenge was KISS - Keep It Sweet & Simple.

I began by stamping the image with a Memento ink pad. The stamp I used was Wishing on a star by Little Claire's. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers.I stamped the image again as I added the elephant head and heart again with foam pads. I also cut out and added the stars around the edge of the main image.



I cut a panel of pink pad for the background. Onto this I attached the stamped image and the stars. For the white punched strip I used my Martha Stewart flower edge punch. I attached this onto the pink panel. I added a strip of spotted pink ribbon and a bow.

I stamped the baby wording using Stampin' Up Tiny Tags stamp set. I punched out the tags using the Stampin' Up Tiny Tag punch. I added these under the bow. To finished I added pink gems and pink Stickles.

Passion for ProMarkers - week 83 challenge



This is my card for Passion for ProMarkers challenge. The theme of this challenge was “all you need is love”.

I begun by stamping the image, 'Hot Pants' by Penny Black, with a Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I stamped the image again and coloured in the heart, pants and hands which I cut out and later added to the image with foam pads.



I used Nestabilities Lacy Circles to cut out the image and the frames. I used Lacy Squares to cut out the card blank. I stamped small heart on the card blank with red ink pad. I added the Lacy Circles. The white top image layer was added with foam pads.

I stamped the two tiny tags with a red ink pad. The tag and heart stamps are by Stampin' Up. I cut out the tags using the Stampin' Up tag punch. To finish I added a red bow anf Glossy Accents to the balloon.

Clare's weekly challenge - inspiration



This is my card Clare's weekly challenge on the DoCrafts website. This week's challenge was an inspiration challenge.

From the inspiration photo I used the blue background panels with the flowers in front of it as inspiration for the three blue panels on the card. The four colours card candy dots came from the jar lids in the photo.



I begun by stamping the pattern on three panels of blue card. The stamps I used are Birdsong wooden peg stamps by DoCrafts. I used clear VersaMark ink pad and heat embossed the pattern with white embossing powder. I mounted these onto panels of silver card. I also stamped and embossed the greeting and two birds. For these I used the clear Birdsong stamps.



I attached a strip of Papermania blue ribbon to a card blank. I added the greeting and two birds with foam pads. I attached four different colours of card candy to the card with circle foam pads. To finish I added pink Dimension Pearls and crystal Stickles.

The Stamp Man Challenge 14



This is my card for The Stamp Man Challenge. The theme of the challenge was 'distress'. I added a distressed edging to the flowers and the punched boarder.



I begun by stamping the two flowers on pink papers. The stamp is Flowerhead by Little Claire's. I stamped the centre section again on light mustard paper. Once I cut out all the flower sections I added a distresses look with a sponge dauber and a Chocolate Chip ink pad both from Stampin' Up.



I cut a square of kraft card for the background. I punched the edge with a Martha Stewart punch around the page large combo wild flowers punch. I added the distressed look to the edges.

I cut the birthday greeting using my Cricut. The font is Gypsy font. I added a gem for the dot above the 'i'. I attached the flowers to the card. To finish I added gold Stickles and gold Dimension Pearls to the flowers.

I love ProMarkers - challenge 48



I Love ProMarkers challenge. The theme of the challenge was punches. I used punches for the oval and scalloped oval frames for the greeting.

The stamp set I used for the card was a new one I had for Christmas. The stamp set is called 'Milestones and Moments' from the 'A little bit sketchy' range by Sheena Douglass.



I begun by stamping the image onto watercolour paper with a black VersaFine ink pad. I used watercolour pencils to colour the blue sky. For the coloured image layers I stamped the image again three times onto smooth white card but this time with a Memento ink pad. I coloured the layers in with ProMarkers. I cut out each layer.



I covered an A5 card with green card. I mounted the watercolour paper panel onto brown and green card. Finally I added this onto a longer panel of brown card. I added a strip of green across the card. I used Stampin' Up oval and scalloped oval punches to cut of the greeting panel. I added a peel-off greeting and attached it to the brown card panel with brads. I then added the brown panel onto the A5 card.

To finish this card I added the image layers with foam pads.

Clare's weekly challenge



This is my card for Clare's weekly challenge on the DoCrafts website. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. The range of stamps I used is the 'Woodland Folk' by DoCrafts.



I drew around a square Nestabilities nine times onto white smooth card. Into each square I stamped a different image using a Memento ink pad. I coloured each image with ProMarkers and added hightlights with Sakura pens and Stickles.



I cut a square of brown card for the background. Onto this I added the squares. I added dots around the edge of the squares with a gold Sakura pen. I attached strips of green ribbon. I used punched for the small circles. These were added with foam pads.

Passion for ProMarkers - week 82 challenge



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers challenge. The theme of the challenge was 'baby cards'.



I begun my stamping the baby image with a Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. The stamp is by Lili of the Valley. I used nestabilities to cut out the image and the circle and scalloped frames. I covered a 8x8 card blank with pink patterned paper. The paper was from the Honey & Hugs range by Papermania.



Using my Cricut to cut of the daisies and the wording. I added these to the card. To finish I added gold and white dots using Sakura pens.

LOTV sketch challenge 79



This is my card for Lili of the Valley sketch challenge 79.

I begun by stamping LOTV Teddy with Bouquet image with a memento ink pad. I coloured the image in with ProMarkers. I added highlight with a gold Sakura pen and gold Stickles. I used Nestabilities to cut out the image and the scalloped frame.

I cut a square of lilac pattern card for the main backing panel. I punched two corners with a Martha Stewart flower punch. Behind the corners I added dark purple card.



For the centre panel I cut a strip of lilac card. I punched the edges with a Martha Stewart flower punch. Onto this panel I added a panel of dark purple card and patterned paper.

Following the sketch I attached all the panels together on a card blank. I used foam pads for the centre section. I also added a greeting with foam pads. To finish I added gold dots around the edges with a Sakura pen and purple gems in the corners.

A challenging day...



I have two challenge card for you today so this is why I've called it a challenging day. Both are for challenges on the DoCrafts website. For both cards I used the new Birdsong stamps by Papermania.



My first card is for Clare's Weekly Challenge. It was an inspiration challenge. I used the colours from the inspiration photos - pinks and white.

I begun by stamping the tree with Stampin' Up Razzleberry ink pad. I stamped it again in Pixie Pink ink pad bt Stampin' Up. I cut of the tree truck and added it to the Pixie Pink tree. I cut a white square of the card for the background which I stamped various small stamps from the Birdsong set. I used Pixie Pink ink pad for the background. I stamped the greeting with Old Olive ink pad. I cut out the tree and greeting.



For the main background I cut a square of Kraft card. Onto this I mounted the stamped background panel and a panel of vellum. I attached them with brads. Across the card I added a punched strip of Kraft card. I used the wide Martha Stewart flower punch for the centre strip. The greeting and tree was attached with foam pads. To finish I added diamond Stickles to the tree and silver dots around the edge of the vellum.



My second card is for the new challenge with has started for DoCraft Creativity Club members. This was a sketch challenge. I begun by stamping the tree with Memento ink pad and coloured it in with ProMarkers. I added gold Stickles to the centre of the flowers. I stamped with greeting with Sepia VersaFine ink pad.



I cut up the tree image as per the sketch. I punched the greeting out with a scalopped circle punch. For the backgpound I cut two panels of light blue card. One panel I punched with a Martha Stewart flower edge punch. To finish the card I added gold dots with a Sakura pen.

Sneak Peek 3: New 'Wedding' stamps

This is the third of the new sets of stamps by Little Claire's that will be launched next Wednesday, 12 January. My final sneaky peek for you!

Both these card were made using the 'Wedding' set. I stamped all the elements with a black Memento ink pad onto smooth white card, except the stained glass window which was stamped with Staz-on. I coloured them in with ProMarkers. For the stained glass window I coloured on the reverse side to the stamped image.



I stamped both wedding images onto squares of grey card, one for the outside of the card and one for the inside. I cut out the window section of both card panels. Behind each I attached the stained glass window or inside of the church scene.



For the front of the card I stamped the window ledge and doves again and attached them to the front of the card with foam pads. To finish the card I stamped the greeting.



For my final card I stamped the outside of the wedding scene onto grey card. I cut out the window section and behind I attached the wedding scene. I stamped the window ledge and doves again and mounted with foam pads. I stamped the greeting on the front. Once the front panel was finished and attached to a card black I added small silver dots around the edge of the card with a Sakura pen.



Little Claire will be on Create and Craft on Wednesday at 11am with their selection of new stamp designs.

Sneak Peek 2: New 'Christening' stamps

This is second of the new sets of stamps by Little Claire's that will be launched next Wednesday, 12 January. Another sneaky peek for you!

Both these card were made using the 'Christening' set. I stamped all the elements with a black Memento ink pad onto smooth white card. I coloured them in with ProMarkers.



For the first card I used a scalloped edge pink card from Papermania. The inside of the card was stamped in pink with a dotty background stamp by Stampin' Up. I scored the front of the card in half and folded it. I used Nestabilities to cut out the christening gown image and the frame.

I used a screw punch to punch holes in the edge of the card and oval frame. I stamped the greeting inside the card and added the book image. The oval panels were added to the front of the card. To finish I attached a bow.



For the second card I stamped the door image on the front of a square of grey card. I cut out the door. On the back of the grey panel I attached the doors and inside of church view so it showed through the door hole. I stamped the greeting using a Stampin' Up white and added metal-look round embellishments each side. The completed grey panel was then added to card blank.

Sneak Peek: New 'Cat in Window' stamps

This is one of the new sets of stamps by Little Claire's that will be launched next Wednesday, 12 January. So a little sneaky peek for you!

Little Claire will also be on Create and Craft next Wednesday at 11am with their selection of new stamp designs.

Both these card were made using the 'Cat in the Window' set. I stamped all the elements with a black Memento ink pad onto smooth white card. I coloured them in with ProMarkers.



For the window card I also stamped the design onto a square of pink card. I cut the curtains, cat and pillows out from the white card and attached them to the pink square. I cut the window section out of the pink card. Behind the window hole I attached the outdoor scene and windows. I added the pink square to a card blank. To finish I stamped the greeting and added diamond Stickles to the flowers on the wallpaper.



For the thank you card, I stamped the vase and flowers design twice and coloured them both in. One image was cut out with an oval Nestabilities. The other image I cut all the pieces out and added to the main image with foam pads. This was added to a pink scalloped oval. I cut two rectangles for the background panels. I punched one edge with my Stampin' Up scalloped edge punch. I embossed the white panel with an embossing folder. To finish I added ribbon and a greeting.

Dog in window



This is my first card made using Little Claire's January Stamp Club stamp set.

The flower box, window frame and living room image were all stamped with Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers. The window was stamped on acetate with jet black Staz-On ink pad. I cut a square of light brown card for the background and small rectangles for the bricks. I added a distressed effect to the edges using a sponge dauber and Stampin' Up Chocolate ink pad.



I layered up all the image layers starting with living room image then the acetate window, brown wall section and lastly the window frame. This was then added to a card blank.

I added the bricks to the card and the window box with foam pads. Lastly I stamped the greeting.
