Simply Stampin' Challenge 5



After making the Top Three at Simply Stampin last week I was inspired to get my card for this week's challenge made today. So, this is my card for this week's Simply Stampin Challenge blog. The challenge was a colour change so I have used Rich Razzleberry and Always Artichoke for my card as I had these colours in my stash.



I begun my stamping the bird, flowers and heart in Rich Razzleberry. The stamp set I used was 'Punch Potpourri' Hostess set by Stampin' Up. I used 'Two-step Bird', 'Boho Blossoms' and the 'Heart' punch to punch out all the elements. I also punched out 'Boho Blossoms' in 'Always Artichoke' card.

I used 'Blender pens' to added colour to the punched flowers. I used my 'Rich Razzleberry' marker to colour the centres. I cut a panels of white and 'Always Artichoke' card. I punched the edge of each with 'Eyelet Border' punch.



I added a strip of white card and 'Rich Razzleberry' spotted ribbon across the card. Onto this I added the stamped heart and tags. The Tag's greeting start is part of the 'Tiny Tags' stamp set. All the elements were added the a square card blank. To finish I added tiny dots.

For my card I used the new 'Baby Blossom' stamps by Stampin' Up.

Simply Stampin' Challenge 4 - second entry



My new Stampin' Up 'toys' arrived this week so I just had to try them out. So this is my second entry for Simply Stampin challenge blog. I have used 'Baby Blossoms' stamp set. This is from the mini catalogue that was launched at the beginning of the month.

I begun by stamping the centre images and the rose corners. I used Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Up ink pads and also a pale pink pad. I added faux stitching with a Rich Razzleberry marker.



For the background pattern I used the small branch and flower head from the stamp set. I used Tiny Tags greeting for the tag. These were punched out using the Tiny Tag punch. I layered up the card following the challenge sketch. Adding Rich Razzleberry spotted ribbon and green ribbon to the tiny tags. To finish I added white faux stitching around the edge of the card.

Warren



This is the first card I have made using the limited edition of rubber stamps which were on sale last week. The stamps were from the Warren Collection by Craftwork Cards. I loved all the stamp designs I bought so much I couldn't decide which one to use, so I used all three!



I stamped the designs with a black Memento ink pad onto smooth white card. I coloured them in with ProMarkers. I added Glossy Accents to the hearts. I mounted these into panels of dark pink card. I cut a panel of pink 'Cottontail' patterned paper for the background and also a panel of white card. I punched the edge of each panel with Stampin' Up eyelet punch.



I added a strip of white ribbon across the patterned paper. I added two pink 'Candi' with foam pads to the ribbon. To finish the card I added a large white bow and a circle greeting from the 'Vintage' collection.

Clare's weekly challenge - inspiration



This is my card for Clare's weekly challenge on the DoCrafts website. This weeks challenge was a photo inspiration challenge. The photo was of a woodland so I chose to use DoCraft's 'Woodland folk' range of stamps and papers for the card.

I begun by stamping the woodland scene on a circle of smooth white card. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I added highlights with glitter Sakura pens. I mounted this image onto a scalloped circle of brown card.



I cut a panel of brown card for the background onto this I added a panel of flower pattern paper from the same 'Woodland folk' range. I added a strip of brown ribbon across the panels. The panel was then added to the card and I added pink dots around the border. To finish the card I added a greeting and flowers with foam pads.

Wedding Day purple and swirls



This is a Wedding card I have made using products from Craftwork Cards.

I started by cutting two panels of coloured paper from the 'grape and grey' range. These were mounted either side of a panel of silver card. I added two strips of dark purple ribbon and one strip of light purple ribbon across the coloured panels. I attached this to a Scallop Edge card blank.



I added a decorate silver frame from the 'Glamour' range and a wedding greeting with foam pads. I added two light purple Candi to the card with foam pads. I added diamond and light purple gems. To finish the card I added silver dots around the edge of the card.

Simply Stampin' Challenge 4



This is my card for this week's Simply Stampin' challenge blog. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. The stamp set I used for the card is 'Simply Said' from Stampin' Up.

I started by creating the main image. I coloured directly onto the stamp using Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry marker pens. I stamped the images three times across the panel. I mounted this onto a panel of dark red card.

I stamped three flowers in Rich Razzleberry. I used these in the corners. I used the stamp-away technique to get a lighter coloured flower. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the outline dots. I coloured the centre with a Blender Pen and a So Saffron ink pad.



I cut a panel of white card for the background. I stamped the greeting in Old Olive. I covered the greeting with a post-it note before stampin the flower pattern. I stamped the dotty flower outline in Rich Razzleberry. I coloured the centres using a Blender Pen. I removed the post-it note so the greeting now had a clear boarder around it. I mounted this panel onto a panel of green card.

I added a strip of white card and green Stampin' Up ribbon onto the card. The main image was attached with foam pads. To finish the card I added alternate Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry dots.

Birthday rose



This is a birthday card I have made using a new toy of mine - the Spellbinders Rose Creations Nestabilities. As soon as I saw then I knew I 'needed' them!

I begun my cutting the petals and leaves from coloured card. On the leaves and top layer of petal I lightly embossed some details using a round ended embossing tool. I put a little PVA glue between each layer and I also added a brad to keep all the pieces together.



I stamped a section of flower design on a Kraft card blank using Stampin' Up Crumb Cake ink pad. Onto this added strip of white, green and burgundy card. The edge of the burgundy card was punched with a my Stampin' Up eyelet punch.

To finish the card I added gold peel-off strips and a birthday greeting which was cut using my Cricut.

I love ProMarkers - challenge 62



This is my card for this week's I Love ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme of the challenge is 'anything goes'.

The stamp set I used for the card was Polka Doodles 'Garden Neighbours' stamp set. I begun by stamping all the elements of the image onto smooth white card with using a black Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I added gold highlights with a gold Sakura pen.



I cut a panel of light purple card for the background. I punched the edge of the strip of white card using Stampin' Up eyelet punch. I added the image and the punch edge to the purple panel. Across the centre I added a strip of light purple card with two brads.

I cut out the wording using my Cricut. To finish I added faux stitching.

I love ProMarkers - challenge 61



This is my card for this week's I Love ProMarkers challenge blog. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge.

I begun by stamping the footballer image with a black Memento ink pad. The stamp is by Flower Soft. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I added Glossy Accents to the football. I mounted the image onto a panel of red and silver card.



I stamped a football image around the edge of a square card blank. To keep with the sketch I added panels of red and silver card, and dotty paper. I added a circle greeting by Craftwork Cards. To finish I added small red dots around the edge of the image and onto the circle greeting.

Simply Stampin' Challenge 3



This is my card for this week's Simply Stampin Challenge blog. The theme of this week's challenge was Easter. I have use traditional Easter colours of yellow and green for my card. The Stampin' Up stamp set I used was 'Live your dream' and the ink and ribbon colours I used were Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron.



I begun by stamping the main flower image in Pear Pizzazz. I stamped the flower heads again and also the butterflies in So Saffron. I attached the flower heads with brads. I cut out the image and used my Stampin' Up small circle punch to punch out the corners. I mounted this onto green and So Saffron card. I stamped the greeting using 'Fast and Fun Notes' stamp set.



I stamped the background pattern using the small flower stamp from the set and Pear Pizzazz ink pad. I mounted this onto green card. I also stamped a flower pattern panel in So Saffon. I punched a strip of green card using Stampin' Up Eyelet border punch. Onto this I added the patterned strip and So Saffron ribbon. To finished a stamped two small flowers and punch them out with my small circle punch.

Little Claire's DT - challenge 5 card



This is my DT card for Little Claire's blog challenge 5. The theme of the challenge is 'Animals'. The challenge starts today and runs for the next two weeks. There's a great prize to win of Promarkers, prima flowers, stamps and a gorgeous selection of papers!



The stamp I used for the card is Wishing on a star. I stamped the image with a black Memento ink pad and coloured it in with ProMarkers. I cut out the image and mounted it on pale blue card. I stamped the image twice again and cut out the elements. I mounted the layers up with foam pads.



I used Lacy Nestabilites to cut out the silver frame and the card blank. I added faux stitching with a blue Sakura pen. I punched a small tag using Stampin' Up punch. I stamped a greeting onto the tag using Tiny Tags stamps. I added this to the card bank. To finish I added a white bow and blue gem.

Royal Wedding



This is my card for DoCrafts Royal Wedding card competition. I chose to use a colour scheme of cream , gold and pale blue.

I begun by cutting the initial out of cream and gold card. I used Gypsy Wandering font and my Cricut. I mounted the cream onto the gold layer.



I covered a card blank with cream card. I cut a large square of gold card for the background. I punched the corners with a XCut corner punch. The pale blue paper was from the DoCrafts Pampered Pets range. I added this to the gold card square and tucked the corners under the flower corners. In the corners I added gold Dew Drops from Papermania.



I attached a thin strip of gold card and cream ribbon by Anita's across the card. I added two small bows tied from the same ribbon. To finish I added a greeting from the Forever Friends range.

Passion for ProMarkers - week 95 challenge



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme of the challenge was 'make your own embellishments'. I made the three small and large buttons for the card.

I begun by stamping the main image with a black Memento ink pad. The stamp set I used was 'Sweet Summer' by Stampin' Up. I coloured the image in with ProMarkers. I added the flower heads with foam pads.



I mounted the image onto a panel of burgundy card. I added this to Kraft card blank. I added a strip of pink card to the card. I made the buttons from four layers Stampin' Up Kraft card. I used Nestabilities and a small circle punch to punch out the circles. I punched small holes for the ribbon to be threaded through. I added a top coat of Glossy Accents to each button.



I threaded ribbon through the button holes and added them to the card. I stamped the greeting with a Stampin' Up Rich Razzleberry ink pad. The greeting is by Little Claire's. To finish I added faux stitching.

An easter treat



Thought I'd do something different than a card so I have made little egg holders for easter eggs. This is my entry for two challenges - I Love ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme was easter and Passion for ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme was pink and yellow.



I begun by stamping the eggs basket image with a black Memento ink pad. I usedDuckmum stamp set by Little Claire's. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I added glossy accents to the bow. I cut out the image and the scalloped frame with Nestabilities. I added faux stitching. I made the holders from folding 148x148mm squares of yellow card. I attached the image to the front of the holder with extra strong red tape. To finish I added a bow to the top of each holder.

Simply Stampin' Challenge 1



This is my card for the first challenge on the new Simply Stampin' Challenge blog. To take part you must use at least one Stampin' Up product on your card. I love Stampin' Up products so I just had to give it a go!

This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. I begun by stamping the centre panel. The stamp set I used for the card is 'Just Believe' from Stampin' Up. I used the stamp-away technique for the background the of the panel. I stamped the green frame separately with Old Olive ink pad. Onto this I added stamped flowers. I used Rich Razzleberry ink pad for the flowers. I mounted the frame onto Kraft and dark red card and the whole panel onto green card. I added linen thread the the panel.



I cut a panel of Kraft card for the background. Onto this I stamped the circle stamp from the 'Just Believe' set with Crumb Cake ink pad. I added a strip of dark red and a punched strip of green card. I punched the green with a Scalloped edge punch. I attached this to the Kraft panel and added two brads. To finish I added diamond Stickles to the flower centres and faux stitching.

Sneak Peek: New 'Spikey Flowers & Bistro' stamps

More sneak peeks! These three cards were made with the new 'Spikey Flowers' and 'Bistro' sets of stamps from Little Claire's. These are more designs that will be launched on Create and Craft this Thursday, 7 April, at 11am.



My first card uses the 'Spikey Flowers' set. I stamped the corner stamp in two corners of a panel of smooth white card. I also stamped the flowers again separately. I coloured them all in the ProMarkers. I added Glossy Accents to the centres. I added the separate flowers to the panel with foam pads. I mounted the white panel onto layers of pink and brown card. This were all added to a Karft card blank. To finish I added Faux stitching and a wording cut with my Cricut.



My second card uses the 'Spikey Flowers' set again. I stamped the flower stamp along a panel of smooth white card. I added colour with ProMarkers and Stickles. I punched the bottom edge with a Stampin' Up punch. I cut more panels of pink and white card and punched these too. The panels were layers up. I added a strip of ribbon and a bow before adding to a card blank. To finish I added a peel-off greeting from Little Claire's.



My third card was made using the tree stamp from the 'Bistro' set. I stamped this on a panel of smooth white card. I coloured it in with ProMarkers. I stamped the leaves sections again which were coloured in a added the tree with foam pads. The tree was added to a panel of red card. I added a strip of ribbon and a bow before adding to a card blank. To finished I stamped the greeting.
