Just to say...

This is a card I made using lovely items from Stampin' Up, Martha Stewart and WOW! embossing powder.

I attached a square card of dark red card onto a square card blank. I cut a square of white card and using Martha Stewart's Country Tile Pattern Punch All Over the Page punch to punch the pattern.  I added this to the card. In the centres of the design I added red Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue.

For the flowers I used Stampin' Up 'Secret Garden' stamp set. I stamped the flowers and leaves with a VersaMark ink pad onto white and dark red card. I heat embossed with flowers with WOW! Pomegranate embossing powder and the leaves with WOW! Olive embossing powder. I used the matching Stampin' Up Secret Garden dies to cut out the flowers. I attached the flowers to the card. To finish I added gold Dimension Pearls to the centres of the flowers.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! This is a Father's Day card I made using the cute little 'A Little Gnome' and 'Fishy Wishes' clear stamps both from Woodware. They are such cute stamps that I just had to given them a home as soon as I saw them.

I am entering my card into Lisa B. Designs Blog Challenge. The theme is Those Magnificent Men.

I started by stamping the gnome of the left with a Memento ink pad onto smooth white card. I also stamped the image onto a post-it note and cut round it to form a mask which I placed over the image. I them stamped the gnome on the right slightly over the first image. I them removed the mask so the gnome on the right looked behind the first. I used ProMarkers to colour the stamped images.

I cut out the coloured image. To do this I drew a rectangle in pencil around the gnomes. It was slight narrower than the image so when I cut around the image some of the gnome edges were over the sides of the rectangle.

I mounted the coloured image onto panels of dark blue and spotty paper. I added a die cut sentiment from Craftwork Cards and a strip of ribbon before attaching the image to the card. To finish I added small black dots around the edge and gold Dimension Pearls to the centre of the flowers.

It's a boy!

This is a card I made for my new nephew, Owen who was born at the end of last month.

I am entering this card into Lisa B. Design monthly blog challenge. The theme of this month's challenge is Those Magnificent Men!

I started by stampin the cute bear image. The stamp I used was Snuggle Time by Lili of the Valley.  I stamped the image with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured the image with Copics. I added Glossy Accents to the rattle and bottle to give a plastic look. I cut out the coloured image and the frame with Nestabilites.

I mounted the coloured image and frame onto squares of dark blue card and spotty paper. For the letters I used Craftwork Cards Printers Block stamps which I stamped in dark blue ink. In the corners I added photo corners which I punched with a Stampin' Up punch. To finish the card I added black and white faux stitching.

Butterfly Flourish

The new June Stamp Club set from Little Claire is the lovely Butterfly Flourish. The stamp set includes includes four image stamps and one beautiful greeting stamp.

These are two card made with the stamp set.

For my first card, I started by drawing a square in pencil onto smooth white card. I stamped the flowers and dragonfly images and coloured them with ProMarkers. I cut around the square but where the stamped image went over the edge of the pencil square I cut around the lines.

I mounted this onto a panel of brown and pink card. To finish I added Glossy Accents to the centre of the dragonflies and small black dots around the edges.

For my second card I stamped the sentiment and the other flower design from the set all-around the edge of a shaped card. I coloured this this fineliner pens.

I stamped the butterfly on a separate piece of smooth white paper. I coloured the butterfly with ProMarkers. I cut the butterfly out and added it to the card. I only added glue to the body section. To finish I added Glossy Accents to the centre of the butterfly.

Little girls and boys

These are two 2nd Birthday cards I made for Megan and a little boy who was also two. I used the same stamp for both cards. The stamp is 'Party Animals!' by Penny Black.

I stamped the cute image with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured the images with Copics and ProMarkers. I used by Cricut to cut the large number. For the sentiments I stamped the wording onto a flag and tab shapes.

On the pink card I stamped the balloons again from the main image. I coloured and cut them out and added them to the card as little embellishments. I also used cute buttons and ribbon on the pink card.

For the blue boy card I used stitching and brads for the embellishments.
