The February blog challenge starts today on the Craft Stamper blog. The theme of the challenge is Stencilling.
This is my DT card for the challenge. I have used a stencil and stamps from PaperArtsy.

To make my card I start by lightly colouring the edges of a 148x148mm white card blank. I used Tumbled Glass (for the top, sky) and Bundled Sage (for the bottom, grass) Distress Inks. I then stencilled the grasses using PaperArtsy Lin Brown 004 Stencil and Old Paper and Frayed Burlap Distress Inks. This created a light background image for the card, as shown below.

I then stencilled the flowers using stronger, brighter coloured, as shown below. The stencil I used was PaperArtsy Lin Brown 005 Stencil. I used Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Chipped Sapphire, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Salty Ocean Distress Inks.

I then replaced the stencil and stamped small circles onto the flowerheads only, as shown below. I used Dusty Concord and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks. The stamp I used was from Jofy Collection 14. On the leaves I also stamped through the stencil using a line stamps again from Jofy Collection 14 and Mowed Lawn Distress ink.

I stamped a sentiment in Jet Black Archival ink and a stamp from Jofy Collection 14. Along the bottom of the card I stamped grasses using a stamps from Jofy Collection 11. To finish the card I added Crackle Glaze to the centre of the flower and Star Dust Stickles to the top of the tall grasses.
