The card I have to share with you today is for the Craft Stamper blog challenge. This is my first card for the
blog challenge as part of their Design Team. The theme of the challenge is to use the Ombre technique. It's the halfway point of the challenge so there's a little reminder on the
blog. For details about the challenge and to enter pop over to the
Craft Stamper blog.
I started by creating the background. I cut a square of smooth white card. I used Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender Distress ink pads and a blending tool to create the Ombre effect background. I then stamped sentiment and the flowers onto the background with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I also stamped some grass with the Dusty Concord ink pad.
I added the stamped background to a square of black card before adding to a square card blank. I stamped the flowerheads again onto smooth white card. I cut out each flowerhead and added a little colour with the Distress Inks. I then added them to the card blank.
To finish the card I added Star Dust Stickles, Opal White Liquid Pearls and purple Dimensional Pearls to the flowers and leaves.
