Creativity Club craft challenge 2

This is my card for the DoCrafts Creativity Club craft challenge 2 that was launched last night on Facebook. The theme of the challenge was to create a window card.

I begun by stamping the snowflake design onto the front of a Papermania Kraft card blank with a blue ink pad. The snowflake stamp is part of a free gift on the current Creativity! magazine. I cut out a panel on the front of the card large enough for the mounted snowman image.

The snowman rectangle image panel is from the new Noel Christmas range from DoCrafts. I mounted the image onto panels of silver and black card. I attached the panel inside the card blank. From the front panel I cut out from the card, I cut out the whole stamped snowflake images and added them to the corner of the window. I added a strip of seam binding ribbon and a bow down the edhe of the card. To finish I added faux stitching around the window, blue Stickles to the centre of the snowflake corners and a gem.

Embossed Christmas

This is my card for this week's Fab 'n' Funky blog challenge. The theme of the called is 'go mad with embossing'.

I used the Cuttlebug All-in-one embossing folders for this card. The elements all came from the Twinkle set.

The background panel was embossed with the large holly. For the centre panel I started by embossing the greeting and one of the corners. I then moved the position of the corner design around the greeting to form the border. I cut out the design and added it to a panel of dark brown card. I layered all the elements up onto a square card blank. I coloured in the greeting with a ProMarker. To finish I added gold dots and brown Dimension Pearls.

Festive trio

This is a set of card I've made using Stampin' Up stamps and ink pads. I am entering these cards into this week's challenge Simply Stampin' blog challenge.

This week's challenge is a colour challenge of Melon Mambo, Perfect Plum, Bashful Blue, Whisper White. Unfortunately I don't have these colours so I have used my closest colours of Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry and Pixie Pink. The stamp sets I used for the cards are Seasons of Joy and Tree Trimmings. I stamped each element directly onto square card blanks.

These are quick and easy cards to make which is ideal if you have a lot to make. These designs would work in a variety of colour combinations.
