Humphreys Christmas gift
This is my card for Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge blog. The theme of the challenge is pink and green. After see Sara on Create and Craft last weekend with the lovely Humphreys Corner stamps I just had to get crafting with mine!
I begun by stamping the Humphreys Corner 'Hello Rudolph' stamp with a black Memento ink pad. The greeting is from the Humphreys Corner 'Santa and Rudolph' stamp set. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I cut this and green frame out using Nestabilities. I added a green pearl to Rudolph's bow.
For the background I cut panels of green and pink card, and green dotty paper. I cut the edges with zigzag edges scissors. I also cut a strip of white card. I used an X-Cut border dies to diecut the scalloped patterned edge. Across this strip I added a piece of ribbon and a bow.
The snowflake shapes were cut using Spellbinders snowflake cutting dies. I added all the elements to a square card blank. I added pink gems to the centre of the snowflakes and green card dots to the corners. To finish I added faux stitching.
