Happy Christmas



This is my card for the Passion for ProMarkers - Mega Christmas challenge. The theme of the challenge is 'Celebrations'.

I begun by stamping the Humphreys Corner image with a black Memento ink pad. I coloured in the cute image with ProMarkers. I cut around the edge of the image. I covered a square card blank with dark blue card. Onto this I added torn strips of white paper to form snowdrifts. I attached the image onto the snow. I added PolarWhite FlowerSoft to the fur edge on the hats.



I scored a line 2cm from the fold on the back of the card I attached double sided tape to the 2cm panel. I attached the front to the double sided tape. I cut a square of white acetate for the overlay. Onto this I stamped the snowflake design with a white Staz-On ink pad. I added this to the card with red tape.



Using my Croc-o-dile I added two holes on the 2cm section. Through the hole I added red ribbon which I tied into a bow. To finish I added the greeting letters which were cut with my Cricut.

Christmas George



This is my card for the Divas by Design blog challenge. The theme is 'Merry Christmas'.

The stamp I used for the card is Little George by Little Claire. I begun by stamping the image with a black Memento ink pad onto smooth white card. I coloured him in with ProMarkers. I punch the edge of the coloured panel and a panel of green card with my Stampin' Up Eyelet punch.



I covered a square card with gold card and holly patterned paper. I punch the edge of the holly paper. I attached a strip of red ribbon across the coloured panel before adding it to the card blank.



For the sentiment I used Red Gingham - Christmas Text stamps available from Little Claire. I cut this and the background circle out with Nestabilities Lacey Circles. To finish I added snowflakes which I cut with my Cricut and gems.

Glitter baubles



This is my card for this week's Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge Week 86. The theme is Make a Christmas Card.

I begun by stamping the baubles. The stamp I used was from Stampin' Up 'Contempo Christmas' stamp set. I stamped the baubles with clear VersaMark ink pad. I then heat embossed them using various colours of WOW embossing powder. I punched out the shapes with my Stampin' Up Baubles punch.



On a square of white card I stamped the green swirls with a Pear Pizzazz green ink pad. I used a stamp from Stampin' Up 'Season of Joy' stamp set. I attached the punched baubles onto the white square. I cut a slit above each bauble and on the swirl. I threaded ribbon through the slits and attached behind the square. On a square card blank I added square of red and gold card as well as the bauble square.



I stamped the greeting and punched out the shape with a Decorative Labels Stamoin' Up punch. I added this to the card with foam pads. I stamped small red flowers using a stamp from the 'Season of Joy' set. I added these to the card and added gold Dimension Pearls to the centre. To finish I added ribbon bows and faux stitching.

For your 1st Christmas



This is my card for this week's I Love ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme is blue and white.

The stamp set I used for the card is the lovely Humphreys Corner - 1st Christmas Set. I begun by stamping the image with a black Memento ink pad. I coloured him in with ProMarkers. I added Polar White FlowerSoft around his hat. Once the Flower Soft was dry I cut out the image.



I stamped the snowflake image onto a scalloped card blank. I ink pad I used was Baja Breeze blue ink pad from Stampin' up. I cut out a letter R using my Cricut and Cindy Loo cartridge. It's an R because it's the inital of one of Megan's friends. I stamped the 1st Christmas greeting with the blue ink pad onto white card. The greeting was also from the Humphrey set. I added this to the R with ribbon. I added all the elements to the card blank. To finish I added faux stitching and a gem.

Christmas and kraft



This is my card for this week's Simply Stamping blog challenge.

I begun by stamping the main image with a Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip ink pad. The stamp I used was 'Dasher' by Stampin' Up. I mounted him onto panels of red and brown card. The scalloped edge was punched the a Scalloped Stampin' Up punch.



For the background panel I used the snowflake stamp from Stampin' Up 'Season of Joy' stamp set. I stamped the snowflake in Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip and Cherry Cobbler ink pad onto white and Kraft card. I mounted the layers onto a square card blank. I stamped the greeting in Chocolate Chip. The stamp is from the 'Contempo Christmas' set. To finish the card I added faux stitching and various colours of Stickles.

Santa and Rudolph at Christmas



This is my card for the first Joanna Sheen blog challenge. The theme is 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas'.

The stamp set I used was Humphreys Corner - Santa and Rudolph. I begun by stamping the three times with a black Memento ink pad. I coloured in all the images with ProMarkers. I cut out one of the images in a rectangle shape for the background. I cut out sections from the other coloured images and added them to the main image with foam pads. I added Stickles for sparkle and dots around the edge with a gel pen.



For the background I cut a square of gold card. Onto this I added a star patterned paper. I punched one of the edges with a scalloped edge punch. I added a strip of gold ribbon across the panel before adding it to a square card blank which I had covered with patterned paper. I added the image panel to the card. Around the edges I added snowflakes which I had cut with my Cricut. To finish the card I added a gold bow and gems.

A birthday wish



This is my card for the last Lili of the Valley blog challenge. The theme is pink, white and silver.

The stamp I used is Little Dot 'Birthday Wish'. I bought this stamp with the £10 voucher I won a couple of weeks ago on the blog challenge, so I thought it was an ideal opportunity to give the stamp it's first use.



I begun my stamping the image and I coloured it in with ProMarkers. I added highlights with a silver gel pen and silver Stickles. I cut around the image and mounted it with foam pads onto circles cut with Circle and Lacey Circles Nestabilities. I also stamped and attached an extra tag to the gift. I added small dots around the edge with Sakura pink glitter pen.



I cut a panel of pink patterned paper for the background. Across the top corner I added ribbon before adding it to a scalloped card blank. I cut various flower shapes with my Cuttlebug Flower dies. I coloured some of the flowers with ProMarkers. I added the flower to the card and then the main image. I stamped the greeting with a dark pink ink pad. I mounted this onto panels of pink and silver card. I added silver Card Candi to the centre of the large flowers. I finish I added a bow, faux stitching and pink Stickles to the centre of the small flowers.

Little Claire Monthly Challenge 16 - DT card



This is my DT card for Little Claire Monthly Challenge # 16. The theme is 'Family Christmas'.

The stamp I used for the main image was The Robin & The Ivy by Red Gingham Designs which is available from Little Claire.



I begun by stamping the image with black Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I cut the image out and mounted it onto a panel of silver card. For the background frames I die cut them from silver card and patterned paper using Nestabilities.



I covered a square card with silver card and patterned paper. Onto this I added the coloured image. I stamped the circle sentiment with a dark green ink pad. The sentiment stamp I used Red Gingham - Christmas Text. I mounted this onto two circles cut with Nestabilities Lacey Circles. To finish the card I added Stickles, small white snowflakes and gems.

Festive red and white



This is my cards for this week's Simply Stampin blog challenge - week 36. The theme is Snowflake Sparkle.

The stamp set I have used for the cards are 'Delicate doilies' and 'Contempo Christmas' both by Stampin' Up. I thought the style of the doilies stamps reminded me of delicate snowflakes. By using the red and white colour scheme I felt it gave it a festive feel.



For my first card (above) I stamped the doilies first with a clear VersaMark ink pad. I used red WOW embossing powder to heat emboss the stamped design. In the gaps I stamped the smaller doilies with a Real Red ink pad from Stampin' Up. I cut the design into three pieces and mounted them onto red card. I stamped the doilies onto the card blank with the Real Red ink pad. To finish I add a strip of ribbon. The greeting stamp is from the 'Contempo Christmas' stamp set.



My second card (above) I heat embossed the doilies images again. To finish this card I added a ribbon bow.

Happy 1st birthday



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers blog challenge. This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.



The stamp I used for the card is 'No.7 Bear' by Lili of the Valley. I begun by stamping the image three times onto smooth white card with a black Memento ink pad. The stamp has an number 7 on the shirt but as the card was for a one-year-old I masked the 7 when stamping. I coloured in the images with ProMarkers. I mounted one of the coloured image onto dark red card. I cut of sections of the other coloured images and added them to the first image with foam pads.



Following the sketch I cut pieces of white, light blue and dark red card. On the white panels I stamped a football design using Stampin' Up Baja Blue and Cherry Cobbler ink pads. I layered the pieces onto a square card blank.

I cut the greeting and the number 1 using my Cricut. I added the name with a white gel pen. To finish I added Card Candi and blue dots.

1st Christmas



This is my card for this month's Crafter's Companion blog challenge. The theme is 'new beginnings'. So my card is my daughter Megan's first Christmas card.

The stamp set I used for the main image is Humphrey's Corner - 1st Christmas Stamp Set. I begun by stamping the image three times onto smooth white card. I coloured the images with ProMarkers.



I cut out one of the images with Lacey Circles Nestabilities. Underneath this image I stamped the greeting. I mounted this onto a pink Lacey Circle. I cut out the other coloured layers and attached them to the card with foam pads. I added Polar White FlowerSoft for the fur on the hat.



I used my Cricut to cut out Megan's name. I cut a pink and white shadow layer.

On a stepper card blank I stamped pink snowflakes using a Stampin' Up Pretty in Pink ink pad.



Using my Cricut again I cut a selection of snowflakes. I coloured half of them with a Baby Pink ProMarkers. The other half I added a layer of diamond Stickles. Once they were dry I added these to the card. To finish the card I added gems and a bow.

Winter Aga



For this card I used Little Claire Stamp Club set for December - 'Winter Aga'.

I am entering my card into this week's Fab 'n' Funky blog challenge. The theme is 'anything goes'.

I begun by stamping the aga image with a black Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers.



I covered a card blank with pink spotty paper. Onto this I added a strip of white card which I had punched the long edges with my Stampin' Up eyelet punch. Onto this I added pink gingham paper and the coloured image. I stamped and coloured addition bunting which I cut out and added to the card. To finish I stamped the circle sentiment which I mounted onto a Kraft Lacey Circle which was cut using Nestabilities. I then added to the card.

It's a girl



This is my card for this week's Lili of the Valley blog challenge. The theme is anything goes.

The stamp I used for the card is Baby Girl by Lili of the Valley. I begun by stamping the image on smooth white card. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I mounted this onto panels of silver and pink card. I added faux stitching around the edge with a pink Sakura pen.



I covered a card blank with heart patterned paper. I cut two 5" squares of pink and white card. I punched the edges using Martha Stewart Punch-around-the page punch. I attached these together and also added a strip of ribbon across the top left corner. I added this to the card.



I cut a silver swirl using Memory Box Die Fauntleroy Crest die. I cut this in half and added it to the card. I used my Cricut to cut the working in pink and also a white shadow layer. I tied a bow with pink ribbon and added this to the card. To finish I added gems.

Oh Christmas Tree



The stamp I used for this Christmas Stepper card is Oh Christmas Tree by Red Gingham Designs available from Little Claire. I stamped it using a black Memento ink pad onto smooth white card. I coloured in the tree image with ProMarkers. For the fine detail I added the Letraset fine nips. I added sparkle with various colours of Stickles and a gold gel pen.



I mounted the image onto panels of gold card, brown and star patterned paper. Across the top corner I added a strip of ribbon. I mounted this onto a Stepper card blank.



I cut panels of gold card, brown and patterned page for the side panels. These were then attached to the card blank. I stamped the circles sentiment with a brown ink pad. The stamp I used is from the Christmas Text sentiments set also by Red Gingham Designs. I mounted this onto a brown and gold circles cut with Lacey Circles Nestabilities. To finish the card I added gold gems and a brown ribbon bow.



I am entering this card into Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #83 The theme is Make it Masculine. So I have used a colour scheme of mostly dark reds and browns.
