It's a boy!


This is a card I made for my new nephew, Owen who was born at the end of last month.

I am entering this card into Lisa B. Design monthly blog challenge. The theme of this month's challenge is Those Magnificent Men!

I started by stampin the cute bear image. The stamp I used was Snuggle Time by Lili of the Valley.  I stamped the image with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured the image with Copics. I added Glossy Accents to the rattle and bottle to give a plastic look. I cut out the coloured image and the frame with Nestabilites.

 
I mounted the coloured image and frame onto squares of dark blue card and spotty paper. For the letters I used Craftwork Cards Printers Block stamps which I stamped in dark blue ink. In the corners I added photo corners which I punched with a Stampin' Up punch. To finish the card I added black and white faux stitching.

2nd Birthday


This is a birthday card I made for Megan's 2nd Birthday. I used a cute little fairy on the front so I will be entering the card into Lisa B. Designs blog challenge as the theme is 'Wings and things'.

The stamp I used for the card is Lili of the Valley's Little Dot A Birthday Wish. I stamped the image with a Tuxedo Blank Memento ink pad and coloured it with Copics and ProMarkers. I cut out the coloured image and mounted it into onto two circles of pink card.

 
I used a Craftwork Cards easel scallop circle card blank. I covered the inside and front panels with with pink card and gingham paper. I decorated the inside with punch white paper flowers. I used my Cricut to cut out the name and number. I used a Stampin' Up stamp for the sentiment. To finish I added faux stitching and Stickles.

Thistledown fairy

 
This is a birthday card I'm entering into Lisa B. Design May blog challenge. The theme of the challenge is 'Wings and Things'.
 
The stamp I used for the card is Thistledown by Lili of the Valley. I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured the image with a mixture of Copics and ProMarkers. I use Nestabilities to cut out the image and dark green frame. I stamped additional flowers which I coloured and added around the edge of the image.

 
I cut a panel of green dotty paper for the background. I used a corner rounder punch to punch the bottom two corners. I added a strip of green card and dotty paper across the background before adding it to the scalloped edge card blank. I used a scalloped punch to punch one edge of the green card. I added a circle sentiment from Craftwork Cards. To finish I added faux stitching, Stickles and Glossy Accents.

To daddy

 
This is a Christmas card I have made for Megan to give to her daddy. I started by stamping and colouring the cute baby image. The stamp I used was Baby's First Christmas by Lili of the Valley. I stamped the image with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured the image with Copics. I added Stickles for the sparkly snow and white flock to the hat for the fur. I mounted this onto a circle of dark green card.

 
I used a Craftwork Cards Easel Scallop Circle card as the base of the card. The patterned paper I used is from the Candy Cane range from Craftwork Cards. I used Craftwork Cards Printers Block stamps to stamp the 'to daddy' wording. I added each letter with a foam pad. The Card Candi I used for the stoppers and the sentiment die cut are also from Craftwork cards. To finish I added faux stitching and snowflakes with I cut with punches and my Cricut.

Milly Cuddle Time


This is my card for this week's Lili's Little Fairies blog challenge. The theme of the challenge is 'Anything goes'.

The stamp I used for the main image is the cute Milly Cuddle Time by Lili of the Valley. I coloured the image with ProMarkers. I used a Label Nestabilites to cut out the image and the brown frame. I added mini silver brads to the sides of the frame.


I covered a square card blank with a square of brown card and stripped paper. For the edge I cut to long strips of brown card and spotty paper. I punched one edge of each with my Stampin' Up Eyelet punch. I added these to the card blank. The corner swirls are a Memory Box die called Macarena Corner.


I attached an oval greeting from Craftwork Cards to the card. To finish the card I added flower and leaf shape cut from patterned paper. I also added faux stitching, gems and pearls.

Pirate Bear


I am entering this card into the following challenges
Lili's Little Fairies blog challenge. The theme is use 'Your Favourite Craft Tool'. I have used Spellbinders dies on this card. And
Divas by Design blog challenge. The theme is 'One for the boys'.

The stamp I used on this card is Pirate Bear by Lili of the Valley. I coloured the stamped image with ProMarkers. I used Spellbinders Labels dies for the blue and kraft frame. I also drew round the inside of the die to cut out the coloured image so it would layer exactly onto the other frames. I punched holes in the frames and threaded through a long strip of ribbon.


For the background I cut a square of dark blue card and gingham paper. Onto this I added the coloured image and attached the ribbon ends behind the dark blue card square. I added this all onto a card blank. I used by Cricut to cut out the letters. I added punched photo corners and die cut stars to the card. To finish I added faux stitching.

Mr Fixit



This is my card for this week's Fab 'n' Funky blog challenge. The theme is "On all 4's".

The stamp I used for my card is Mr Fixit by Lili of the Valley. I begun my stamping the image with a black Memento ink pad. I coloured it in with ProMarkers. I added Glossy Accents to the noses.



I used a selection of patterned paper for the background which I added to a square card blank. I mounted the coloured image onto a panel of green card before adding to the card. To finish I added a circle greeting and Card Candi from Craftwork Cards, and my favourite faux stitching.

Little Sleepy Head



This is my card for this week's Lili's Little Fairies blog challenge. The theme is 'ribbon, buttons and bows'.

The stamp I used for the card is Little Sleepy Head by Lili of the Valley.

I begun by stamping the image with a black Memento ink pad. I coloured in the cute image with ProMarkers. I cut out the image and dark blue frame with Nestabilities.



For the background I cut panels of patterned paper, dark blue and white card. I attached the two squares together and on the top right corner I added strip of ribbon and a bow. I added the rectangle panel to the squares with brads. I added the image panel to the card. I die cut a selection of stars which were also added the the card.



I stamped the boy tag and coloured it in with ProMarkers. I added Glossy Accents to the little button on the tag. This was added the to card with foam pads. To finish I added a gem and faux stitching.

Happy 1st Birthday



This is a 1st birthday card I have made for a friends of Megan's. I am entering this card into the following challenges:
I Love ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme is ribbon and bows.
Lili of the Valley Thursday blog challenge. The theme is ribbon and lace. I have used lace-effect nestabilities for the edges.



I begun by stamping the cute image onto smooth white paper with a black Memento ink pad. The stamp I used was Little Dot 'Birthday Wish' by Lili of the Valley. I drew around a circle Nestie and cut out the image leaving the section that went over the edge. I mounted this onto a dark pink circle and pink circle which I cut with a Tear Drop Circles Nestabilities.



For the background I cut panels of patterned papers and card. I cut the lace-effect edges with Spellbinders Classic Triple Scallop Edgeabilities. I added these to a square card. Onto this I added the circle and greeting with foam pads. I added Stickles and Dimension Pearls to the image. To finish I added a bow and pearls.

Football fan



This is my card for this week's I Love ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme is 'Anything goes'.

I begun by stamping the bear image with a black Memento ink pad. The stamp I used was No. 7 Bear by Lili of the Valley. I coloured him in with ProMarkers.



I cut two panels of white card. Onto these I stamped a football and football themed word images with a black ink pad. I attached these and a square of black card to a card blank. I punched a white photo corner with my Stampin' Up punch and added this to the card. I also attached a circle greeting from Craftwork Cards. To finish I added faux stitching and silver nail head stickers.

A birthday wish



This is my card for the last Lili of the Valley blog challenge. The theme is pink, white and silver.

The stamp I used is Little Dot 'Birthday Wish'. I bought this stamp with the £10 voucher I won a couple of weeks ago on the blog challenge, so I thought it was an ideal opportunity to give the stamp it's first use.



I begun my stamping the image and I coloured it in with ProMarkers. I added highlights with a silver gel pen and silver Stickles. I cut around the image and mounted it with foam pads onto circles cut with Circle and Lacey Circles Nestabilities. I also stamped and attached an extra tag to the gift. I added small dots around the edge with Sakura pink glitter pen.



I cut a panel of pink patterned paper for the background. Across the top corner I added ribbon before adding it to a scalloped card blank. I cut various flower shapes with my Cuttlebug Flower dies. I coloured some of the flowers with ProMarkers. I added the flower to the card and then the main image. I stamped the greeting with a dark pink ink pad. I mounted this onto panels of pink and silver card. I added silver Card Candi to the centre of the large flowers. I finish I added a bow, faux stitching and pink Stickles to the centre of the small flowers.

Happy 1st birthday



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers blog challenge. This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.



The stamp I used for the card is 'No.7 Bear' by Lili of the Valley. I begun by stamping the image three times onto smooth white card with a black Memento ink pad. The stamp has an number 7 on the shirt but as the card was for a one-year-old I masked the 7 when stamping. I coloured in the images with ProMarkers. I mounted one of the coloured image onto dark red card. I cut of sections of the other coloured images and added them to the first image with foam pads.



Following the sketch I cut pieces of white, light blue and dark red card. On the white panels I stamped a football design using Stampin' Up Baja Blue and Cherry Cobbler ink pads. I layered the pieces onto a square card blank.

I cut the greeting and the number 1 using my Cricut. I added the name with a white gel pen. To finish I added Card Candi and blue dots.

It's a girl



This is my card for this week's Lili of the Valley blog challenge. The theme is anything goes.

The stamp I used for the card is Baby Girl by Lili of the Valley. I begun by stamping the image on smooth white card. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I mounted this onto panels of silver and pink card. I added faux stitching around the edge with a pink Sakura pen.



I covered a card blank with heart patterned paper. I cut two 5" squares of pink and white card. I punched the edges using Martha Stewart Punch-around-the page punch. I attached these together and also added a strip of ribbon across the top left corner. I added this to the card.



I cut a silver swirl using Memory Box Die Fauntleroy Crest die. I cut this in half and added it to the card. I used my Cricut to cut the working in pink and also a white shadow layer. I tied a bow with pink ribbon and added this to the card. To finish I added gems.

Festive bird house



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme is “swirls & sparkles”.

I begun by stamping the image. The stamp I used is Bird houses - holly by Lili of the Valley. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I added sparkle with various colours of Stickles. I cut out the image and gold frame with Lacey Circles Nestabilities.



For the background I cut squares of spotty and gold card. I attached these to a square card blank. From gold card I cut four swirls edges using Memory Box Fauntleroy Crest die. I added these to the card to form a frame. I added the image to the card. To finish I added an oval greeting and gold dots.

Igloo for two



This is my card for this week's Lili of the Valley blog challenge. The theme of the challenge is to make a Christmas card for Someone Special.

The stamp I used for the card is Lili of the Valley's 'Igloo for two'. I coloured in the stamped image with ProMarkers. I added sparkle with various Stickles and gel pens. I mounted the finished image onto panels of silver and navy card.



I covered a card blank with pale blue snowflake patterned paper.I distressed the edges using Night Of Navy Stampin' Up ink pad and cut&dry foam. Around the edge I drew faux stitching with a blue fineliner. I cut a panel of navy card to go across the card. I punched one of the edges with my Stampin' Up eyelet punch. Across the panel I added a strip of gathered Baja Blue Stampin' Up seam binding. This was then added to the card blank along with the stamped image.



I cut various sized snowflakes with my Cricut. I coloured some of them in with my Aqua ProMarker. I added diamond Stickles to the snowflakes. Once this they were dry I added them to the card. I used Red Gingham Design Christmas sentiment stamps for the greeting. These are available from Little Claire. I attached the sentiment to two circle diecut with Nestabilities Lacey Circles dies. To finish I added light blue gems.

Milly Cuddle Time



This is my card for this week's Lili of the Valley Blog challenge. The theme is Creature Comforts. The stamp I used for the card is Milly Cuddle Time.

I begun by stamping the image three times onto smooth white card. I coloured in the images with ProMarkers. I cut out the image and the gingham frame with Nestabilities. From the other two coloured image I cut out pieces (hands and the animals) with I decoupaged with foam pads.



For the background I cut a panel of lilac patterned paper. I embossed this using the Cuttlebug All-in-one True Love embossing folder. I attached this to a scalloped card blank. Across the card I added a punched white strip of card. The punched I used was Stampin' Up Eyelet punch. I also attached a strip of dark lilac patterned paper across the card.



The stamped image was added with foam pads. I added a selection of lilac paper flowers and Card Candi to the card. In the centres of the flowers I added pearls. To finish I added faux stitching.
