This is my card for this month's Crafter's Companion blog challenge. The theme is 'new beginnings'. So my card is my daughter Megan's first Christmas card.
The stamp set I used for the main image is Humphrey's Corner - 1st Christmas Stamp Set. I begun by stamping the image three times onto smooth white card. I coloured the images with ProMarkers.
I cut out one of the images with Lacey Circles Nestabilities. Underneath this image I stamped the greeting. I mounted this onto a pink Lacey Circle. I cut out the other coloured layers and attached them to the card with foam pads. I added Polar White FlowerSoft for the fur on the hat.
I used my Cricut to cut out Megan's name. I cut a pink and white shadow layer.
On a stepper card blank I stamped pink snowflakes using a Stampin' Up Pretty in Pink ink pad.
Using my Cricut again I cut a selection of snowflakes. I coloured half of them with a Baby Pink ProMarkers. The other half I added a layer of diamond Stickles. Once they were dry I added these to the card. To finish the card I added gems and a bow.
