This is a card I have made using the lovely Encyclopaedia Botanica stamp set from The Artistic Stamper.
I started by lightly distressing the edges of a Craftwork Cards Elegance shaped card blank. I then used a dark brown ink pad to stamp the text all over the card blank. The text stamp is also part of the Encyclopaedia Botanica stamp set. I cut a square frame from brown card and added this to the card blank.
I stamped the large flower stamp in dark green ink onto white card and in dark red ink onto red card. I cut out the pieces and added them to the card blank. I stamped the large flowers heads again, cut them out and added them to the card with foam pads. I stamped the centre of the flowers in brown ink onto yellow card. I cut these out and added them to the card.
I stamped the large and small butterflies from the Encyclopaedia Botanica stamp set in dark red ink onto white card. I used a paint brush and water to draw the ink from the stamped butterflies to then allowed me to colour them in. I added them to the card. I only glued the body section so I could fold the wings up. To finish the butterflies I added glitter to the wings and brown Dimension Pearls to the bodies. Finally I added a oval sentiment, and faux stitches and pearls.

Beautiful card. The red against the black frame is fantastic.
