Christmas Tags

Today Little Claire are launching a new set of Christmas Tag stamps. The stamp set contains 12 different tag greeting. The photo above shows six of the designs and ideas how they can be stamped onto patterned paper, coloured card or in coloured ink. A wide variety of patterend papers are available on Little Claire's website.

I used the Christmas Wishes tag from the new set for this card. The main image is Room With A View - Nativity stamp also by Little Claire. I stamped and coloured the inside view. I used ProMarkers to colour the image. I stamped the outside onto kraft card. I cut the doors open and attached the inside view behind.

For the sky background I used Blue Texture with Stars paper and for the sand Kraft paper both available from Little Claire.

For more details about the stamps and your chance to win a set please see Little Claire's blog.

Daisy Bunting

I made this card using a selection of stamps from Little Claire. The main cute little girl image is Loverly Jubblies - Daisy Bunting. The circle sentiment is created using Daisy Dot Alphabet & Numbers Stamp Set and Save the Date!

The Loverly Jubblies - Daisy Bunting image was stamped with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I stamped the balloon again and added it to the main image with foam pads. The number 5 stamp I used is part of the Save the Date! stamp set.

The circle sentiment was created using two stamp sets. The Happy Birthday outside circle is the Save the Date! stamp set and the letter d is a stamp from Daisy Dot Alphabet & Numbers Stamp Set. They fit perfectly together so you can make a personalised circle sentiment for any initial!

The patterned papers I used on the card are Garden Party 12 x 12 Paper Pad, the ribbon is Garden Party Ribbon Pack also Garden Party, Paper Blossoms and Garden Party 3D Adhesive Stickers, Butterflies. All available from Little Claire.

This card was also featured on Little Claire's blog last week.

Santa's Reindeer

I made this card using Hobby Art's Santa's Reindeer stamp set.  The set contains 16 individual stamps so it great to create your own festive image.

I started by stamping the main image onto smooth white card with a black Memento ink pad. I also stamped the reindeer's head onto a post-it note and cut it out to create a mask. I put the mask onto the reindeer image so I could then stamp the tress and they wouldn't stamp over the reindeer image. I stamped the snowflakes with a Sky Blue Brilliance ink pad.

I stamped the reindeer four more time. I coloured the stamped image with ProMarkers. I then cut out section and layered them onto the original image with foam pads. I used red felt for his nose.

I layered the coloured image onto panels of silver and green card. I stamped the greeting using a stamp from Hobby Art's Christmas Sentiments stamp set onto a white card tag. I attached this to the image panel with green ribbon. To finish I added diamond Stickles and a green bow.

Little Claire monthly challenge DT card

This my DT card for this months Little Claire Monthly Challenge number 24 . The theme of the challenge is 'Best Friends'

The two Litte Claire's stamps I used for the card were  Loverly Jubblies - Robert & Daisy Umbrella for the main image and  Sunshine Sentiments. I used ProMarkers to colour the stamped image.

The red dotty papers are from a new selection of patterned papers also available from Little Claire. I used these for the background and also to die cut the flowers from.

A Winter scene

To celebrate joining the Hobby Art Design Team I have made this Christmas card using the lovely Winter Scene-its stamp set from Hobby Art.

The set contains 13 individual stamps which allows you to create your own wintry scene.

I stamped my scene using a Tuxedo Black ink pad onto smooth white card. I coloured the image with ProMarkers. I added Diamond Stickles for some added sparkle.

I punched the bottom edge of the stamped image and a strip of red card with Stampin' Up Eyelet punch. These were attached to a panel of dark red and another square of red card. Before add to a square card blank I added a strip of red gingham ribbon and a bow. I added snowflakes which I cut using a punch and also my Cricut. To finish I added gems and faux stitching.

Merry Kissmas

Today is the launch of Little Claire's final stamp from their new Christmas range. The stamp is the lovely Merry Kissmas. These are two cards I have made using the stamp.

I have used two very different colour schemes for my cards. For my first card (above) I kept to a traditional red and green. I used the holly from the stamped image as theme throughout the card by using holly background paper and a cut out holly shape in the bottom right corner. I used red gems for the large holly berries.

My second card I used a non-traditional brown and kraft theme. But by using the Christmas image and snowflakes I still gives the festive feel.

Snow and hugs

This weeks sees the launch of the new Christmas range of stamps from Little Claire.

Today's new stamps are Letters Snow and Polar Hugs.

My first card for today (above) was made using the Letters Snow stamp set. I designed this stamp set with Little Claire. For the card I stamped the letters onto white card with a Sky Blue Brilliance dew drop ink pad. I also used the letter 'l' to create a border.

I used panels of blue card to mat-and-layer the stamped image. The snowflake shapes were cut with my Cricut and also a punch. I coloured the blue snowflakes with a ProMarkers. To finish I added diamond Stickles and a bow tied from denim ribbon.

Until midday on Wednesday 8th August, the Letters Snow stamp set is only £10 (RRP £12.99) as a special introductory offer. The set contains 38 stamps.

My next two cards for today used the Polar Hugs stamp. For the card above I cut an aperture in a square card blank. I stamped the Polar Hugs into onto a separate piece of smooth white card. I cut out the image and attached it to the front the of square card. Inside the card I added a piece of pale blue card. For my second card (below) I heat embossed the Polar Hugs image with pale blue embossing powder. I kept to a simple blue and white colour scheme.

Glided Christmas baubles

This is my card for Lisa. B. Designs monthly challenge. There was no set topic so I used some IndigoBlu gilding flakes that I bought at a recent Lisa.B. Designs craft event.

The two stamp sets I used for the card were Tree Trimmings and Season of Joy both by Stampin' Up. I begun by cutting two squares of brown card. On the large square I stamped the flower design and the smaller square the baubles design and greeting. I also stamped individual flowers. I used the special Flitter Glu to stamp the images.

I covered the images with IndigoBlu Brighton Pier gilding flakes. I rubbed of the excess flakes and then used the Scoochy sponge to remove the last remaining flakes to reveal the design.

I mounted the panels onto a square card blank.. I added the flowers with foam pads. In the centre of the flowers I added gold Dimension Pearls. To finish I added gold ribbon bows.
