Festive Little Claire

I have a selection of cards to share with you today using the new range of Christmas stamps from Little Claire.

My first card using the cute Stocking Owls stamp.

I stamped the cute owl image using a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I kept to a simple white, black and turquoise colour scheme. I mounted the coloured image onto square of white and turquoise card. The sentiment is a peel off also from Little Claire. I drew the scalloped and dot border with a fine liner.

My second card also uses the new Stocking Owls stamp. I coloured the stamped image with ProMarkers before cutting it into three sections. I attached the three panels onto red card before adding glitter, ribbon, snowflakes and sentiment.

My third card uses the new Joy, Hope and Wonder stamp. The cat and wording are included in the set. I stamped the cats with a London Fog Memento ink pad. The bauble is a red Card Candi which I have added red Stickles to.

My next card uses the new We 3 Ships stamp set. The circle sentiment is also included in the set. I have used a nautical blue colour scheme. I added a hint of yellow for the stars.

My next card uses the fun Snowman Bunting.

I added different coloured Stickles to the bunting to get a sparkly colourful finish. I also added Glossy Accents to his carrot nose. I attached the coloured image and various shared panels to a shaped card blank. To finish I added snowflakes and a sentiment.

My final card uses the lovely Robin and Snowdrop stamp. I have used the robin take to create the patterned background.

For this I stamped the robin with a dark brown ink pad. For the coloured centre panel I stamped the robin image twice and cut one out which I added to the card with foam pads. The tiny tag was made from white card and a Little Claire peel off.

Riley

This is my card for this month's The Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog. The theme is Ladies Day.

The stamps I used for this card are Botanical 3 by The Artistic Stamper and Riley Mixed Media Doll from Prima which is also available from The Artistic Stamper.

I started by stamping Riley onto smooth white card using a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured her with ProMarkers and Copics. I cut around the edge leaving a white border.

I stamped the skirt section again. Onto the skirt I stamped the small rose from the Botanical 3 stamp set. I used a Pine Needles Distress pen and a pink brush pen to colour directly onto the stamp and then I stamped the rose onto the skirt. I cut the skirt out and attached it to the complete doll with foam pads.

For the background I cut a large square of kraft card. I distressed the edges on the kraft card with scissors before attaching it to the card. For the rose patterned panel I cut a square of white card. I added Old Paper and Frayed Burlap Distress ink with a blending tool to the edge of the white square. I stamped the small rose stamp with Old Paper Distress ink pad all over the square.

I stamped a selection of rose. Again I used a Pine Needles Distress pen and a pink brush pen to colour directly onto the stamp before stamping it onto smooth white card. I cut out all the roses and attached them to the card with the sentiment. Then sentiment is also part of the Botanical 3 stamp set.

I added Star Dust Stickles to Riley and Glossy Accents to her shoes. To finish the card I added dark pink faux pearls and faux stitching.

Bertie and Archie

I have a couple of Christmas cards to share with you today using two lovely new stamps from Hobby Art - Bertie the Snowman and Archie and Pals.

My first card uses the cute Bertie the Snowman. The sentiment stamp is also from Hobby Art and is part of the Winter Wishes stamp set. For the snowflakes background I used two snowflake stamps also from the Winter Wishes stamp set. I stamped then in dark blue ink.

I stamped Bertie with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured him with ProMarkers. I cut out the coloured image and attached it to squares of dark and light blue card. The snowman's fur trim is Polar White FlowerSoft. To finish I added Stickles for extra sparkle and Glossy Accents to the carrot nose.

For my second card used the fun Archie and Pals stamp. I again stamped the image with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I coloured it with ProMarkers. I attached the image to panels of red and black card.

I cut a strip from the right hand edge of the card's front. I then stamped the Happy Christmas sentiment down the edge of the inside of the card. But as the strip was cut from the front, the sentiment can be seem as part of the front of the card. The stamp is from the Winter Wishes stamp set. I stamped a sentiment inside the card using a stamp from the Christmas Sentiments stamp set. I added Glossy Accents to the snowman's nose, and the penguins feet and beak. To finish I added black dots and Stickles.
