Boofle birthday

This is my card for DoCrafts Creativity Club A-Z challenge. The letter is M for Masking and Male.

The Boofle stamp I used for the card is free with the current edition of Creativity! magazine. I stamped the Boofle image twice, once on smooth white card and again on a post-it note. I cut out the image on the post-it note.

I placed the post-it note image over the other stamped image. I then stamped the Papermania Typography Happy Birthday greeting. Because I have masked over the original image the birthday greeting appeared to be behind Boofle. I drew a rectangle and stamped button in the corners before cutting out the rectangle.

I coloured the stamped image with ProMarkers. Onto a Papermanaa kraft card blank I added four panels of patterned card cut from the Boofle range of card blank. I added the coloured image and more stamped buttons. To finish I added a gem and faux stitching.

Easter gift bag

This is an Easter gift bag I have made for the DoCrafts Creativity Club challenge. The theme is Easter. I thought I would decorate a bag instead of making a card. A bag full of chocolate eggs makes a lovely gift, I'm sure you would agree!

I begun by stamping the main image. I used Forever Friends Spring Time stamp set. I coloured the image with ProMarkers. I punched the bottom edge with a Stampin' Up eyelet punch. I added a strip of ribbon before adding to a panel of yellow card.

I stamped the egg design all-over a Papermania Back to Basics kraft bag with a brown ink pad. I added the image onto the bag.

I used Papermania Back to Basics tags for the gift tag. I stamped the image once on the tag with a brown ink pad. I also stamped the images onto smooth white card which I then coloured in before adding to the tag.

A to Z challenge - the letter C

This is my card for DoCrafts Creativity Club A to Z challenge. The current challenge is the 'letter C - crimping, cutting and colouring or use all three'.

I have used all three as well as Christmas, Circles, die Cutting, Cranberry and apple paper from the Capsule Collection, Cricut to cut the snowflakes and a Cutie forever friend bear.

I begun by stamping for Forever Friends bear with a black Memento ink pad. I coloured the image in with ProMarkers. I added diamond Stickles for the snow. I cut the image and red scalloped circle out with Nestabilities. The red paper I used has a 'crimped' effect.

I covered a square card blank with red paper and a square of patterned paper from Papermania Cranberry and Apple paper from the Capsule Collection. I cut a strip of red card and punched the long edges with a X-Cut floral border punch. I added this to the card with a strip of patterned paper. I used my Cricut to cut the snowflakes. The greeting is a die-cut by Anita's. To finish the card I added gems and gold lines and dots.

Monochrome Tatty Teddy

These are two card I have make for DoCrafts Creativity Club challenge. The theme of the challenge is monochrome cards with a bit of bling. Although the theme was monochrome I just had to colour in Tatty Teddy's nose blue. I tried to leave it but he just didn't look right without his little blue nose.

The stamp set I use for both cards is the Creativity Club exclusive Tatty Teddy Winter Wonderland stamps.

For my first card I used just the snowflake stamps. I used a black Memento ink pad to stamp the images. For blink I added gems and diamond Stickles.

For my second card I used the Tatty and snowbear stamp. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. For blink I added diamond Stickles.

To finish both cards I added a strip and bow of black spotty ribbon. Around the edges of the card I added white and black dots.

Creativity Club craft challenge 2

This is my card for the DoCrafts Creativity Club craft challenge 2 that was launched last night on Facebook. The theme of the challenge was to create a window card.

I begun by stamping the snowflake design onto the front of a Papermania Kraft card blank with a blue ink pad. The snowflake stamp is part of a free gift on the current Creativity! magazine. I cut out a panel on the front of the card large enough for the mounted snowman image.

The snowman rectangle image panel is from the new Noel Christmas range from DoCrafts. I mounted the image onto panels of silver and black card. I attached the panel inside the card blank. From the front panel I cut out from the card, I cut out the whole stamped snowflake images and added them to the corner of the window. I added a strip of seam binding ribbon and a bow down the edhe of the card. To finish I added faux stitching around the window, blue Stickles to the centre of the snowflake corners and a gem.

Club Challenge 1

This is my card for the DoCrafts new Creativity Club challenge. The theme of the challenge was to use red and the word 'love'.

I begun by stamping the centre image with black Memento ink pads. The stamps I used are by Forever Friends and Papermania Typography Clear Stamp - With Love. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers.

I cut a strip of red paper. I punched the two long edges with an X-Cut flower border punch. I added the image panel onto the red punched panel. Across this panel I added a strip of red ribbon. I also tied a bow with the same ribbon which I added to the card. I also added a red gem to the bow.

On a square card blank I added strips of spotty paper from the Papermania Cranberry & Apple Capsule Collection. I added the other layers to the card. To finish I added Papermania red gems to the ends of the ribbon strip.

Creativity! Club challenge

This is my card for DoCrafts Creativity! Club challenge. The theme of the challenge was to make your own flowers. I was inspiration to make this style of flowers after watching Creativity TV number 6 tutorial - Handmade Flower Embellishments. I used the Core'dinations range of paper for the card.

I begun by covering a square card blank with a piece of blue Whitewash Core'dinations paper. I torn the edges of the square to expose the coloured core. I used circle Nestabilities to cut the circle for the flower heads. I used Whitewash and normal Core'dinations paper. I scratched and distressed the edges of the circles with the sharp edge of my scissors. Following the tutorial I screwed up the circle and sanded them to give a further distressed look.

I made the buttons for the flower centres from three layers of Kraft card. I used my Crop-A-Dile to punch the centre holes. I added a layer of glossy accents to the top. I tied pieces of linen thread through each button.

The stems are strips of green Whitewash Core'dinations paper. I used a punch to punch out the leaf shapes. These were all distressed in the same way as the flower heads.

The stamp I used for the greeting was part of a free gift from Creativity! Club. I stamped this on an oval and added it to the card with foam pads.
