Friendship Card

This is the card I made for the July Friendship Card swap on the DoCrafts website.

The girl stamp is from a set by Pergamano called Flower Girls. She was stamped with a Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers.I used Nestabilities to cut her and the scalloped frame out. I added highlights with gold Dimension Pearls.

I stamped one of the background panels using the flowers stamp from Stampin' Up Tiny Tags set. The other patterned background papers are by DoCrafts and Craftwork Cards. The tags were stamped using the Tiny Tags stamp set and punched out using the Medium Jewelry Tag punch by Stampin' Up.

The flower was punched using Marianne CreaTables dies. I threaded ribbon through the slits in the flower. It was attached to the card with a brad.

Lazy hazy days of summer

This is my card for this month's Sir Stampalot Challenge blog. The theme of the challenge was 'Lazy hazy days of summer'. And this is why I chose the little girl image stamp as to me its sums up the theme of the challenge.

This little girl image is from a set of stamps called 'Flowers girls' by Pergamano. She was stamped with Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers. I added highlight to the image with Sakura pens. I also added various colours of Stickles. I used Nestabilities to cut out the image and frame.

I cut a square of summery design patterned paper the same size as my card blank. I punched a strip of white card using a Martha Stewart Trellis punch. I threaded rainbow ribbon through the trellis and also attached the strip across the paper. I also tied a bow of the same ribbon. Using double sided tape I attached the paper, ribbon and trellis to the card blank.

The flowers and leaves were punched from various colours of card. I used a Quickie Glue pen to layer up the flower and attached them all the the card. The centres of all the flowers are gold Dimension Pearls. I finished the card by attaching a circle greeting by Craftwork Cards.
