Fab 'n' Funky challenge 86
This is my card for this week's Fab 'n' Funky challenge blog. The theme of this week's challenge is "A stitch in time".
I begun by creating the button pattern. For this I used my Button, Button stamp set by Stampin' Up. I stamped the large buttons first and then created masks with post-it notes before stamping the smaller button images. I used Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Rose Pink and Crumb Cake ink pads. I attached a strip of brown ribbon across the patterned panel. I mounted this panel onto a piece of bright pink paper.
I cut a strip of the end of a square card. The piece I cut off I punched with my EKSuccess button punch. I also punched a strip of bright pink paper with the punch. I added a strip of the bright pink paper to the inside edge of the card blank. Onto the strip I added the white button strip of the other end I added the pink button strip. I stamped the greeting in Chocolate Chip.
I stamped the spotty frame in Chocolate Chip ink and punched it out. The frame stamp and punch are by Stampin' Up. I stamped the greeting in the centre of the frame. I added this to the card. To finish I added faux stitching and a pearl.
