Christmas At Home

This is a Christmas card I have made using the lovely At Home from Little Claire. It's a very versatile stamp which can be used for many different occasions and seasons of the year by just changing the sentiment and colour scheme.

I stamp the At Home image onto smooth white card with a black Memento ink pad. I cut out the image and coloured it with ProMarkers. I attached this to a panel of dark blue card. I cut another panel of dark blue card larger than the back panel. I cut die the aperture in the centre and the scalloped edges. I scored two lines near the edges. I folded them to form the 3D frame. I attached this to the background panel.

I stamped a circle Christmas sentiment also from Little Claire. I cut this out using Lacey Circles Nestabilities and also the gold circle. I added these to the card. To finish the card I added die cut snowflakes, faux stitching, gems and diamond Stickles for snow in the sky.

A quick card...

Birthdays happen every year on the same day so you know they are coming. Well we do have 364 days warning. But still I sometimes leave birthday card making to the last minute so a quick card is required.

This is a quick card I make using the cute Tatty Teddy range. I used squares of Tatty Teddy patterned paper and also co-ordinating lilac card. Tatty Teddy, greeting and the butterflies and dragonfly are chipboard shapes. I added my favourite faux stitching around the edge of the squares. To finish I added gems and diamond Stickles to the butterflies and dragonfly..

Birthday wishes

This is my card for this week's Divas by Design blog challenge. The theme is Happy Birthday.

The stamp set I used for the card was 'Everything Eleanor' by Stampin' Up. I cut a panel of cream card for the centre and stamped this and the kraft card blank with a flower head from the stamp set. I stamped the centre shape with Stampin' Up Pear Pizzazz ink pad the greeting was stamped using Chocolate Chip ink pad on a separate piece of card. I cut around the edge of the shape.

I punched two long strips of card using the Eyelet punch. I added these, the cream centre panel, the greeting and a strip of Rose Red seam binding ribbon and a bow to the kraft card blank.

I stamped the flowers using Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red and Rich Razzleberry ink pads all by Stampin' Up. I cut these out and added them to the card. To finish I added faux pearls and gold Dimension Pearls.

Olympic Torch in Maidstone

Had an early start this morning as we went to see the Olympic Torch Replay leave Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent. Even though it left just after 6.35am I thought it was something I had to go and see. It was surprising just how many people were there to see the torch. Took Megan along too. She probably won't remember it but she can say she was there.

The Tree has Changed

This is a second Christmas card I have made using the new Christmas Changing Tree stamp set from Little Claire.

I used a completely different colour scheme from my first Christmas Changing Tree card which I showed on my blog yesterday. For this card I have kept to a simple white, black and blue colour scheme.  I used an embossed card for the background and blue scalloped blue frame on the card. I added die cut snowflakes and faux pearls to the card. The ribbon and bow is seam binding from Stampin' Up. The tiny Noel tag is also part of the Christmas Changing Tree stamp set.

For more details about the stamp set please see Little Claire's blog.

Christmas Changing Tree

This is a Christmas card I have made using the new Christmas Changing Tree stamp set from Little Claire.

All the little Christmas images are separate stamps so you can use them to create your own tree design. I have also used the stamps to create patterned side and bottom panels. I coloured the stamped image with ProMarkers.

For more details about the stamp set please see Little Claire's blog.

Summer

This is my DT card for the new Little Claire Monthly Challenge number 23. The theme of the challenge is 'Summer'. The stamps I used for my card are RWAV - Beach Huts and Beach Huts both by Little Claire.
The prize for the new 'Summer' blog challenge is :
'Travelling Daisy' stamp
Dovecraft 'Fairytale' Paperpack
Purple Stickles
Loverly Jubblie's Die-Cut Sheet
For my DT card I used the RWAV Beach Hut stamp for the main image.  I stamped both hut and inside of the hut on separate pieces of paper and coloured them in before adding to the card. The sand was created with torn strips of yellow paper. The beach hut in the background and the bucket & spade are from the Beach Huts stamp set by Little Claire. I used ProMarkers to colour the stamped images.

Daisy Dot

For this card I used the new Daisy Dot Alphabet & Numbers Stamp Set which I designed with Little Claire. This set is launched today. The set contains 39 stamps - A-Z, 0-9, & and ! So it's perfect to stamp any message you like. And because it's just an outline to can colour it to co-ordinate with other elements on your card or project.

I used ProMarkers to coloured my stamp letters and numbers. The patterned strip was created by stamping a row of letter 'L's. I added the 21 with foam pads. I punched flower stamped from card to add to the card. The centres is Cosmic Shimmer PVA.

Milly Cuddle Time

This is my card for this week's Lili's Little Fairies blog challenge. The theme of the challenge is 'Anything goes'.

The stamp I used for the main image is the cute Milly Cuddle Time by Lili of the Valley. I coloured the image with ProMarkers. I used a Label Nestabilites to cut out the image and the brown frame. I added mini silver brads to the sides of the frame.

I covered a square card blank with a square of brown card and stripped paper. For the edge I cut to long strips of brown card and spotty paper. I punched one edge of each with my Stampin' Up Eyelet punch. I added these to the card blank. The corner swirls are a Memory Box die called Macarena Corner.

I attached an oval greeting from Craftwork Cards to the card. To finish the card I added flower and leaf shape cut from patterned paper. I also added faux stitching, gems and pearls.

Monochrome Alfie

You may have seen my Alfie card recently on the Craftwork Cards blog. But I thought I would also show it on my blog too.  I used a monochrome theme which is something a bit different for me.

The bear stamp I used for the card is Craftwork Cards Alfie - Just For You. He was stamped using a black Memento ink pad and coloured with ProMarkers. I cut him and the black circle out using Lacey Circles Nestabilities.

Both the flower pattern background panel were stamped using the Craftwork Cards Privilege Club free stamp sets that were recently available to Club members. They are a lovely selection of flower designs and make a lovely background paper when they are all stamped together. I also stamped single flowers which I added to the edge of the rectangle panel.

I layered all the panels onto a square card blank. The sentiment I added is a Craftwork Cards Friend Sentiments die cut. I added black dots around the edge of the sentiment and the Lacey Circles with a fineliner. I also added some Newsprint Candi. To finish I added a gem to the centre of Alfie's flower.

Haberdashery

This is a card I made using the new X-Cut Universal Embossing Folder from the Happy Days range called Haberdashery. I love sewing themed items so it was a 'must-have' item.

I begun by embossing the whole image onto blue Core'dinations card. I then embossed section of the image onto different colours of Core'dinations and also silver card. I cut out the sections and added then to the blue embossed image with glue or foam pads.

I stitched my inital in the centre of the blue panel with pink embroidery thread.

I added the complete embossed image onto a panel of white card. I had cut the short edges with zigzag scissors. Before adding this to a Papermania Kraft card I added small silver brads in the corners. To finish I drew over some of the embossed lines with silver and pink gel pens.

These two cards were made using Little Claire's July Stamp Club set Bright Blue Skies. The set includes the separate boy and girl images, the butterflies and sentiments.

For both cards I have used ProMarkers to colour the stamped the images. The butterflies stamp make a lovely background image when stamped all over the card blank or background panels.
