Snoopy Flying High!

This is a birthday I have made using a cute and fun Snoopy stamp. The stamp I used for this card is called Snoopy Flying High.

I stamped the image with a Tuxedo Black ink pad. I coloured in the stamped image with ProMarkers. I added Glossy Accents to Snoopy's nose and goggles.

I cut panels of patterned paper and dark brown card for the background. I attached the Snoopy image with small silver brads from Stampin' Up.

The sentiment stamp is from Stampin' Up. The style of the font is ideal for male cards. I stamped the sentiment onto a flag shaped piece of white card. I added a button with linen thread to the edge of the flag. To finish the card I added Chips Card Candi from Craftwork Cards.

Girly Tree

Little Claire have launched a new set of embellishments to use with their Changing Tree stamp set. The new set is called Changing Tree Girly Embellishments. It contains seven stamps to add to your tree base (tree base comes with the main Changing Tree stamp set). The images are hanging shoes, hairdryer, basket of flowers, handbag, lipstick, perfume & wine bottle & glass, all for just £3.99.

These are two cards I have made using the new Changing Tree Girly Embellishments stamps.

For my first card (above) I have used the original Changing Tree trunk and stamped the embellishments above it.  The card blank was cut using Nestabilities. The 21 was stamped using the Daisy Dot Alphabet & Numbers Stamp Set also from Little Claire. The circle sentiments for both cards are from Little Claire's Dictionary Definitions stamp set.

For my second card I use the  Changing Tree Girly Embellishments stamps to create a background paper. I used ProMarkers to colour the stamped images. The rosette stamp is from Georgina's Rosettes.

Winter mittens

One of my favourite Christmas patterns is the  red and white Scandinavian inspired designs. When I saw this wrapping paper in my local Wilkinsons store I just had to have it for my card making. I used the paper for the background of this card.

The cute mittens were cut out using a Sizzix Winter Mittens die. I cut the main mittens from red card and the white top from white pearlescent card which I also added Stickles to for extra sparkle. I embossed the red section with a stripped embossing folder. Along the embossed lines I added white faux stitching and Stickles.

I added the mittens to a square embossed with a snowflake embossing folder. I also added red ribbon and a bow. This was then attached to a blue square of card and then to the card.

The circle sentiment was a Christmas die cut sentiment  from Little Claire. I added this to a circle cut with Nestabilities Lacey Circles die.

This is a pretty butterfly birthday card I have made. You may have seen it featured on Little Claire's blog yesterday.

The butterfly stamps I used to create the background pattern and the embellishments around the greeting are from the Butterfly Tree stamp set by Little Claire. I added the coloured patterned square to a square of pink card. I used Nestabilities to cut out the stamped greeting and frame. The greeting stamps is part of the Lazy Days stamp set again from Little Claire. I added this to patterned square. Before adding it to the card blank I punched holes and threaded pink ribbon through.

The single groups of butterflies I stamped to go around the greeting, I also added Stickles to the wings and brown Cosmic Shimmer PVA to the bodies. There were added to the card with foam pads. To finish the card I added faux stitching and pearls.
