Clare's weekly challenge

This is my card for Clare's weekly challenge on the DoCrafts website. This week is was a sketch challenge.

I began by stamping the Forever Friends bear image with a Memento ink pad. I coloured him in with ProMarkers. For the fur trim on his hat I added Polar White Flowersoft. I cut the image and gold scalloped circle out with Nestabilities.

Following the sketch I cut out two rectangle panels from the front of a card blank. I attached a panel of heavy weight acetate behind the section I cut out. I covered the remaining card front panels with red card.

Inside the card I attached a panel of holly patterned paper from DoCrafts.I attached a strip of patterned ribbon across the card. To finish I added a oval greeting from Craftwork Cards.

Bloomin With Beauty

These are two card I've made using Bloomin With Beauty stamp set from Stampin' Up. Unfortunately this set was retired last month. I had been looking at this set in the catalogue for months and when I found out it was going I just had to have it.

For this card (above) I stamped the flower images on whisper white card also by Stampin' Up. I coloured the images using a variety of Stampin' Up ink pads. The greeting was cut using my Cricut. The background paper was stamped with the wording from the stamp set. The plant pot was cut from Kraft card.

To finish the card I added ribbon and gold centre to the potted flower using a Sakura pen.

My second card (below) for my October friendship card swap on the DoCrafts website. The flower pot image was stamped with Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers. The card blank was stamped with a flowers design from Stampin' Up Tiny Tags stamp set.

The greeting tag were also stamped with the Tiny Tags set and then punched out the the Jewelry tag punch. They were attached to the card with ribbon. To finish the card I gold centre to the flowers using a Sakura pen.

I love ProMarkers - challenge 37

This is my card for this week's I Love ProMakers blog challenge. The theme of the challenge was autumn. So I used a colour scheme of browns, oranges, greens and dark red. I also chose an image which I felt suited these colours and as they are wearing little hats they are getting ready for the colder weather to come.

I begun my stamping the images with Memento ink pad and coloured them in with ProMarkers. The stamp are by hÄnglar & stÄnglar. I cut out the image and mounted it on Kraft card from Stampin' Up. The two background frames of dark brown card and brown patterned paper were cut with Nestabilities. They patterned papers on this card are from Making Memories Paperie range. I added the stamped image with foam pads.

I cut a large panel of Kraft card for the background. Onto this I added a dark red patterned paper. I distressed the edge of the patterned paper using a sponge dauber and sepia VersaFine ink pad. I punched a strip of Kraft card with my Stampin' Up scalloped edge punch onto this I added patterned paper and a strip of ribbon that I had threaded a button onto.

To finish the card I added stitching with a black fineliner and white Sakura pen and brads. Lastly I added a Tim Holtz 'love' tag greeting with a foam pads and two mini gems.

The Stamp Man Challenge 7

This is my card for this fortnight's The Stamp Man challenge 7. The theme of the challenge was 'autumn'.

I begun by stamping the tree design on cream paper using a VersaMark clear ink pad. The stamp is by Hobby Art. I heat embossed the tree using new WOW Halloween coloured embossing powder. I added small highlights with platinum Stickles. I used Nestabilities to cut out the image. I used a sponge dauber and a sepia VersaFine to distress the edge.

I cut a large panels of brown card and cream paper for the background. I stamped the same tree image across the cream paper. I distressed the edges again. I stamped the greeting in sepia but it wasn't very clear so I wrote over the top of it with a black Sakura pen. I added a strip of brown card. Across the strip I added linen thread by Stampin' Up. To finish I tied a button onto the thread.

Cupcake Tree

This is my card for this week's I Love ProMarkers Challenge blog. The theme was 'Cupcakes'. So I thought the perfect stamp to use would be Cupcake Tree by Little Claire's.

I begun by stamping the main tree image with Memento ink pad and coloured it in with ProMarkers. I also coloured in a white peel-off greeting with a pink ProMarkers. I added the gold ribbon with a gold Sakura pen. I used my new Scalloped Oval and Oval cutting dies from Little Claire's to cut of the stamped image. I added dots with white and pink pens.

I make the backing paper myself. The single cupcake stamps were part of the same 'Cupcake Tree' set. I stamped each cupcake individually and coloured them in with ProMakers. I added a strip of ribbon and a cupcake brad to the patterned paper. I attached this to a card blank which had been covered with pink card.
