Simply Stampin' Challenge 1
This is my card for the first challenge on the new Simply Stampin' Challenge blog. To take part you must use at least one Stampin' Up product on your card. I love Stampin' Up products so I just had to give it a go!
This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. I begun by stamping the centre panel. The stamp set I used for the card is 'Just Believe' from Stampin' Up. I used the stamp-away technique for the background the of the panel. I stamped the green frame separately with Old Olive ink pad. Onto this I added stamped flowers. I used Rich Razzleberry ink pad for the flowers. I mounted the frame onto Kraft and dark red card and the whole panel onto green card. I added linen thread the the panel.
I cut a panel of Kraft card for the background. Onto this I stamped the circle stamp from the 'Just Believe' set with Crumb Cake ink pad. I added a strip of dark red and a punched strip of green card. I punched the green with a Scalloped edge punch. I attached this to the Kraft panel and added two brads. To finish I added diamond Stickles to the flower centres and faux stitching.
