Simply Stampin' Challenge 4
This is my card for this week's Simply Stampin' challenge blog. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. The stamp set I used for the card is 'Simply Said' from Stampin' Up.
I started by creating the main image. I coloured directly onto the stamp using Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry marker pens. I stamped the images three times across the panel. I mounted this onto a panel of dark red card.
I stamped three flowers in Rich Razzleberry. I used these in the corners. I used the stamp-away technique to get a lighter coloured flower. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the outline dots. I coloured the centre with a Blender Pen and a So Saffron ink pad.
I cut a panel of white card for the background. I stamped the greeting in Old Olive. I covered the greeting with a post-it note before stampin the flower pattern. I stamped the dotty flower outline in Rich Razzleberry. I coloured the centres using a Blender Pen. I removed the post-it note so the greeting now had a clear boarder around it. I mounted this panel onto a panel of green card.
I added a strip of white card and green Stampin' Up ribbon onto the card. The main image was attached with foam pads. To finish the card I added alternate Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry dots.
