The Stamp Man Challenge 2
This is my card the this fortnight's The Stamp Man Challenge 2. The theme of the challenge was to 'take two colours'. I chose to use black and white, a classic combination.
The stamp set I used was Aspects of Design 61 Butterfly Beauties, which is available from The Stamp Man. This is one of my favourite set of stamps.
I stamped all the elements with a clear VersaMark ink pad and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I chose the make the 'head' the main image. I attached this to a scalloped edge card blank.
I cut out the two flower and spot curve panels and attached them to the top of the card. I then cut out each small flower and the butterfly and again attached them to the card. The greeting was attached with foam pads.
To the main black panel I drew small white dots with a white Sakura pen around the edfe. I also drew stitching around the edge of the card. To finish I added diamond and black Stickles to the flowers and butterflies.
