Christmas at Little Claire's part one

This is part one of my selection of Christmas cards I have made using the new Christmas range of stamps by Little Claire Designs. The stamps will soon be available on their website. There are six different stamps in total, featuring reindeer, pets, polar bears and trees so something for everyone!

My first card uses Deck the Horns! stamp. He was stamped with a Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers. I added Stickles for a bit of festive sparkle. This was then mounted on Stampin' Up Kraft card and then onto a scalloped edge card blank. I added stitching with a gold Sakura pen and a black fine liner. To finish I added a strip of red ribbon and a bow.

My second card uses Star of Wonder stamp. I stamped the polar bears on a piece of smooth white card with a Memento ink pad. I again coloured them in with ProMarkers. I added diamond Stickles to the snow. I cut out the stamped image and the area they were standing on.

I used a navy blue card blank for the card. I cut a hole in the front using a Nestabilites. I stuck the stamped image inside the card. The greeting was also stamped using a stamp from Warmest Christmas Wishes stamp set. I added stitching with a white Sakura pen.

My third and final card for today uses the Warmest Christmas Wishes Stamp set. I wanted to show an example of how a card can still be attractive but keeping it simple by only using a couple of colours.

Again the image was stamped with Memento ink pad and the red sections were coloured in with ProMarkers. I added flock to the hats with a Quickie glue pen. I used Nestabilities to cut the oval and the scalloped frame. The embossed background was done using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The greeting as from the same stamp set.

They are all great, really like what you have done with the bear, and the embossing on the dog and cat one. Mary x

A great selection! It's been really good to see how everyone has used the stamps in different ways - great inspiration.
