For you x



This card is for DoCrafts Creativity Club challenge which I'm hosting as I was lucky enough to win the last challenge. For the challenge I chose to use the Club's June sketch and summer as the theme.

I am also entering the card in the following challenges:
Passion for ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme was to include flowers.
Pear Tree Designs blog challenge. The theme was to stamp something.
Creative Inspirations blog challenge. The theme was summer.

I begun by stamping the Forever Friend bear in Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I added highlight with Sakura pens and gold Stickles.



In keeping with the sketch I cut panels of flowery patterned paper. The paper is Honey & Hugs by Papermania. I added these to a square card blank. I added two paper flowers. I punched circles and die cut ovals from the green patterned paper. I added these to the flowers. To finish I added dew drop by Papermania and faux stitching.

Letraset colouring challenge



This is my card for the Letraset Colouring Challenge on the Letraset blog.

I downloaded the image from the blog and printed out the roller skate image. I coloured it in with of course ProMarkers!



To keep in with the coloured I used for the roller skate I mounted the image onto panels of blue and pink card. I added black dots around the edge with a Letraset fineliner.

Using PhotoShop I created the roller skate background paper using a repeat image of the downloaded roller skate. I covered a card blank with blue card onto this I added the patterned paper.



I added strips of yellow, green and purple to the card. Onto this I added the coloured image. To finish the card I added a greeting and Candi by Craftwork Cards.

Passion for ProMarker - week 89 challenge



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers blog challenge. The theme of the challenge is 'sugar rush'.

The stamps I used are Little Claire's March Stamp Club set called Messing about on the river. I begun my stamping the girl image. She was coloured in with ProMarkers.



I cut out the image and the scalloped pink frame with Nestabilities. I added faux-stitching with a silver Sakura pen.

I cut a large square of burgundy card for the background and a panel of spotty paper. I used Stampin' Up scalloped punch to punch the edge. I added the panels together. Using a screw punch I punch circle which I threaded pink ribbon through.



I added a white flower with a glitter brad. This was then added the a square card blank. To finish I added silver dots and a pink bow.

Passion for ProMarkers - week 86 challenge



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers challenge. The theme of this week's challenge is 'let there be love'.

I begun my stamping the Forever Friends bear twice on smooth white card with a Memento ink pad. I coloured in the images with ProMarkers. I cut out one bear image and the heart and paws form the second image. I added the heart and paws with foam pads.



I stamped red hearts on the front of a square card blank. Using Nestabilities I out a red Lacy Circle for the background panel and also the Circle aperture on the front of the card. I attached the Lacy Circle and the bear inside the card.

To finish I added diamond Stickles to the front of the card and dots around the edge of the Lacy Circle.

Passion for ProMarkers - week 83 challenge



This is my card for Passion for ProMarkers challenge. The theme of this challenge was “all you need is love”.

I begun by stamping the image, 'Hot Pants' by Penny Black, with a Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. I stamped the image again and coloured in the heart, pants and hands which I cut out and later added to the image with foam pads.



I used Nestabilities Lacy Circles to cut out the image and the frames. I used Lacy Squares to cut out the card blank. I stamped small heart on the card blank with red ink pad. I added the Lacy Circles. The white top image layer was added with foam pads.

I stamped the two tiny tags with a red ink pad. The tag and heart stamps are by Stampin' Up. I cut out the tags using the Stampin' Up tag punch. To finish I added a red bow anf Glossy Accents to the balloon.

Passion for ProMarkers - week 82 challenge



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers challenge. The theme of the challenge was 'baby cards'.



I begun my stamping the baby image with a Memento ink pad. I coloured in the image with ProMarkers. The stamp is by Lili of the Valley. I used nestabilities to cut out the image and the circle and scalloped frames. I covered a 8x8 card blank with pink patterned paper. The paper was from the Honey & Hugs range by Papermania.



Using my Cricut to cut of the daisies and the wording. I added these to the card. To finish I added gold and white dots using Sakura pens.

Christmas kisses



This is my card for Passion for ProMarkers challenge 80. The theme of the challenge is 'anything goes'. I have chosen to enter one of my Christmas cards.



I begun my stamping the image using a Memento ink pad. The stamp is 'Here comes Christmas' by Penny Black. I coloured the image in with ProMarkers. I stamped the image twice again and coloured it in. I cut out sections which I added to the main image with foam pads.

For the snow on the ground I used Flower Soft Polar White and the snow in the sky is diamond Stickles. I mounted the image on a panel of silver card.



I cut a large panel of silver card for the background and mounted a panel of snowflakes patterned paper on top. I punched a strip of dark blue card with a Martha Stewart deep edge flower punch. I added this and the stamped image to the background panel. To finish I added sliver dots with a Sakura pen, gems in the corner and lastly a greeting from Craftwork Cards.

ProMarkers - woof, woof!



This is my card for two ProMarkers challenges.

1. I Love ProMarkers sketch and theme challenge. The theme was 'Rip it up', so I have torn the edges of the spotty and dark brown panels.

2. Passion for ProMarkers photo inspriation. From the photo I use the colours and spotty pattern.



I begun by stamping the dog and parcel image with Memento ink pad. The stamp is Doggy Parcels by Little Claire Designs. I used ProMakers to colour the image in. To finish it I added Glossy Accents to the balloon and ribbon detail with a gold Sakura pen.

I placed an oval Nestabilities over the image and drew around it. I cut the image out, just leaving the parts of the image that were outside the oavl. I mounnted this onto a gold oval which was cut using a Nestabilities.



I cut a large panel of grey card for the main background. To follow the sketch I added panels of spotty paper. The green paper was by My Minds Eye and the red paper by Paperchase. I tore the panels so it kept with the ripped theme.

To finish the card I added brads, stitching and a circle greeting by Craftwork Cards

The Night Owl



These are two cards I've made using a new stamp by Little Claire Designs called 'Night Owl'.

I used a Memento ink pad to stamp the owl designs for both cards. I coloured in the images ProMarkers. The scalloped edge frames were cut using Nestabilities. Both greeting with cut using my Cricut. To finish both cards I added Stickles and Glossy Accents to their eyes.



For this card I cut the card blank from Stampin' Up Kraft card. I cut a strip 275x105mm which I scored and then folded in half. I punch the scalloped edge of the card and a white strip of card with Stampin' Up Scalloped edge punch. The small holes were done using a screw punch. I made the button from small circles of card which I punched small holes in.



For the second card I cut a square of dark blue card for the background onto this I added patterned paper from DCWV. I punched holes through these squares and I threaded ribbon threw. I tied a bow to the ribbon. I finished by added white dots with a white Papermania pen.



How about making your own background paper? This stamp looks lovely when stamped used as I repeating pattern. You could colour it in or even stamp in white on a coloured paper.

Patchwork Jenny



This is the birthday card I made for my auntie Jennifer's birthday which is today. Happy Birthday! The stamp set I used was a gift from her. The name of the stamp set is 'Jenny' so I thought it would be ideal for her birthday card.

The stamp set is from the Patchwork Polly range by Jayne Nestorenko and Crafter's Companion. It is such a pretty stamp and I was very pleased with my finished card.



I began by stamping Jenny, her heart bag, the flowers and patchwork squares with Memento ink pad. I coloured them all in with ProMarkers. I used a different colour range to my normal cards. I used an olive, burgundy, peach and lemon tones. I think these colours suited the style of stamp. I cut out Jenny using Nestabilitites and added small dots about the edge with a fineliner pen. I cut out the heart shape bag and attached it to Jenny with a Quickie glue pen.

The main background panel was Kraft card by Stampin' Up. I used the large grid stamp from the set and Rich Razzleberry ink by Stampin' Up to create the pattern.



I added the Kraft panel and Jenny to the scalloped edge card blank. Around the edge of the card I added dots with a fineliner. I added the flowers around the edge of Jenny. Alternate ones were added with 1mm foam pads. The greeting was also added with foam pads. This stamp was also part of the set. The patchwork squares were added with double sided tape.

To finish I added Glossy Accents to the centres of the flowers and patchwork squares.

Passion for ProMarkers - week 66 challenge



This is my card for this week's Passion for ProMarkers challenge blog. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge and you had to use 'autumn' colours.

I used some of my new craft goodies on this card. I had today off work so thought we'd have a trip out. As usual I managed to fit in a visit to a craft shop. I went to a new one today that I'd not been to before called Pickleberry Crafts. I bought come lovely Making Memories papers and Tim Holtz stamp and tickets. So as soon as I got home I had to get crafting!



The main truck image is a stamp set from Stampin' Up called 'Loads of Love'. This was stamped with a Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers.

I stamping the main background panel with my new Tim Holtz ticket stamp. I used Kraft card and Old Olive ink pad both my Stampin' Up. I cut panels of Kraft card to take the patterned paper. The papers I used are by Making Memories Paperie range. The centre brown strip is a card which was cut the Fiskers patterned scissors.



I used a sponge dauper and sepia VersaMake ink pad to added a distressed look to the edges. To finish the card I added a ticket from the Tim Holtz idea-ology range and buttons.

Winter Blues



This is my card for the following challenges
1. Passion for ProMarkers. The theme was 'Winter Blues'. Therefore I chose a winter designs and kept to a blue colour theme.
2. A Gem of a Challenge. This was sketch challenge
3. Pear Tree Designs. For this challenge you had to include 'Best Wishes' on your card.



I began by stamping the image with a Memento ink pad. I stamped the image twice as I added the hat, boots and scarf with foam pads to add dimension to the card. The stamp is 'Winter Milly' by Pink Gem Designs. She was coloured in with ProMarkers.I used Nestabilities to cut out the image and the frame. To finish Milly I added Polar White Flowersoft for snow and various coloured Stickles. I also added white flock to the top of the boots.

The snowflakes design on dark blue panel was stamped with white Craft Stampin' Up ink pad.



I cut two large panels of blue card for the background panels. The snowflakes were cut using my 'Christmas Cheer' Cricut cartridge. These were added to the card with a Quickie Glue pen. The patterned strip with punched using Martha Stewart deep Flower punch. Across the blue centre strip I added a piece of navy ribbon and small white dots. The dots were added using a white Sakura pen.

To finish I added a greeting oval by Craftwork Cards and diamond Stickles top the snowflakes.

Flowers, just for you



This is my card that I'm entering into this week's,
1. Lili of the Valley Challenge. The theme of the challenge was to reflect a season. I chose summer so I used bright colours and flowers.
2. Clare's Weekly Challenge. This was an inspiration challenge so I used the spots and the bright blue colour from the photo.



I used my 'Teddy with bouquet' LOTV stamp for my card. He was stamped with a Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers. I stamped the image again and cut out the tag, arms and some of the flowers. I added these to the card with foam pads.I added gold Stickles to the centre of the flowers.

I used Nestabilities to cut out the Teddy and the birthday greeting. I added white dots with a white Sakura pen.



I cut a large panel of blue card for the background. I attached spotty paper to blue card. The paper was from Forever Friends range. The edge was punched using my Martha Stewart deep flower punch. I added additional hole with a screw punch and then threaded ribbon through the holes. To finish I added a bow.

Pear Tree Designs - challenge 12



This is my card for Pear Tree Designs - challenge 12. The theme of the challenge is a 'Male theme' card. The stamp I chose to use is 'Doggie Parcels' by Little Claire Designs.



I stamped the image with a Memento ink pad and colour him in with ProMarkers. I chose 'male' colours for the card - shades of browns, reds, blues and olive. I used Nestabilities to out the image and the brown frame. I stamped additional balloons and attached them to the card. I drew in the balloon strings with a fineliner.



I cut a large square of brown card for the background. Onto this I attached panels of patterned paper. Across the centre of the card I added a strip of brown and cream ribbon. I tied a bow with the cream ribbon.

I punched small circles using by Stampin' Up circle punch. I added small thread holes using a screw punch so they looked like buttons. To finish I added a greeting by Craftwork Cards.

Christmas at Little Claire's part two

This is part two of my selection of Christmas cards made with the new range of stamps from Little Claire Designs.



My first card for today uses the 'Warmest Christmas Wishes' stamp set. This was stamped with a Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers. I added Stickles for a bit of festive sparkle. I used nestabilities to cut the frames. The gold strip was punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I threaded ribbon through the holes and also added a bow tied from the same ribbon. The greeting was stamped using white craft ink pad by Stampin' Up.



My second card uses the 'We Three Cats' stamp set. Again I used ProMarkers to colour in the cats. I added white flock to their hats with a Quickie glue pen. The parcels were also stamped using a section of 'The Most Wonderful Time of the Year' stamp set also by Little Claire.




My last card for today uses the 'Christmas Pals' stamp. I wanted a tartan theme for the card to be in keeping with the little westie's jacket. I kept to a colour scheme of mostly red and green and also added a tartan ribbon to finish. The greeting was a peel-off also by Little Claire.
