Buttons and bows
This is my card for two challenges.
Fab 'n' Funky challenge blog and my second entry for this week's Simply Stampin' challenge blog.
The theme for both challenges is 'Buttons and Bows'.
I begun by creating the button background paper. The base paper I used was 'confetti white'. I used the new Stampin' Up 'Button, Button' stamp set. I stamped the large buttons first and then masked theses with post-it notes. I then stamped the smaller buttons. I used So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake Stampin' Up ink pads.
To the top corner of the patterned paper I added a strip of Baja Breeze Seam binding ribbon. Onto this I added a bow, tied with the same ribbon, with a brad. I mounted this onto a Kraft card blank.
I punched four corners using Stampin' Up photo corner punch. For the greeting frame I used the label stamp from the new Stampin' Up 'Baby Blossoms' stamp set. I stamped the frame and the greeting in Chocolate Chip.
To finish I added faux stitching with a white pen and two stamp buttons to the greeting label with foam pads.
