Simply Stampin' Challenge 6
This is my card for this week's Simply Stampin' challenge blog. The theme of this week's challenge was 'buttons and bows'. I have used two new Stampin' Up sets from the mini catalogue for this card - 'Baby Blossoms' and 'Button, Button'.
I begun my stamping each patchwork squares using the 'Baby Blossoms' set. I used Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive Stampin' Up ink pads and a light pink ink pad. I added theses onto a square panel of white card. Across the corner I attached a strip of light green Stampin' Up ribbon and a bow. I added the panel to a card blank. I stamped the large button in Crumb Cake ink pad. I added two additional layers of white card to the button. I drilled holes and tied a piece of Linen Thread through the holes. The button was attached to the bow.
I stamped the label from the 'Baby Blossoms' in Crumb Cake. The greeting is from the 'Simply Said' set. I cut out the label and added it with foam pads to the card.
I stamped some small button from the 'Button, Button' set. I added two additional layers of card to each button. I used the 1/2" circle punch to punch out each button. I added colour to the buttons using a Blender pen. I used a pokey tool to add the holes. To finish the card I added faux stitching.
