Tatty Teddy's back again!

I enjoyed making my Tatty Teddy card so much yesterday that he's back again today on two more cards! I'm entering these cards into the Tatty Teddy sketch challenge on the DoCrafts website.

For both cards I begun by stamping the Tatty image. The stamp is called 'Gift for you'. They were stamped with a black Memento ink pad and coloured in with ProMarkers. I used Cool Grey 1-3 and Powder Blue for Tatty. I added black Sakura pen to the eyes. The Kraft card blanks I used are both by Papermania.

For my first card I chose to use a pastel coloured scheme. The greeting and the embossing folder I used are both from the free gift in this month's DoCrafts magazine, Creativity! The coloured panels are Core’dinations Whitewashed card stock. After they were embossed I sanded the panels and tore the edges to expose the coloured background.

I used Fiskers 'bat wing' scissors to get the torn look edge to the Tatty image. I made the button from layers of card. I added a layer on Glossy Accents on the top of the button and ribbon to finish. The card were finished by adding Stickles to the main image and faux stitching with a brown fineliner.

For my second card I chose to use a pale green coloured scheme.

The patterned paper I used is also part of the Tatty Teddy range. I mounted the patterned papers onto silver card. I added a strip of ribbon and bow to the main image. To finish I added a circle greeting from Craftwork Cards.

Lovely cards. I had a play with the freebie tatty teddy stamp on some scrap card. Stamped in grey it was a bit wishy washy. Yours looks a lot better1

Oh these are just gorgeous cards. I love the tatty teddy stamp and can't wait for it to come out in the Australian edition of Creativity magazine. :)
