Simply Stampin' Challenge 9
This is my card for this week's Simply Stampin' blog challenge. The theme of this week's challenge was 'Floral Frenzy'.
I begun by stamping the patterned background paper. The stamp set I used was 'Baby Blossoms'. The ink pads I used were Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and Old Olive. To line up each element of the flower and stems I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig. All these items are by Stampin' Up. I mounted the flower patterned background onto a square of Kraft card.
I punched a strip of white card with a Eyelet punch. I added this to the card. Onto this I added a strip of Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon. I stamped a spotty frame using Crumb Cake ink pad. The frame is from the stamp set 'Four Frames'. I stamped a greeting in Chocolate Chip and a rose using the 'Baby Blossoms' set. To finish the card I added two gems.
