Clare's weekly challenge - inspiration
This is my card for this week's Clare's Weekly Challenge on the DoCrafts website. This week's challenge was an inspiration challenge. From the photos I used the main two colour on white and blue as my colour theme. The photo was of a house so from that I created a patchwork effect card was symbolised a 'homemade' item of craft.
I begun by creating the patterned papers. I used DoCrafts V&A Hanoverian mini trellis stamp set to stamp the patterned panels. The ink pad I used was Baja Breeze by Stampin' Up. I added the pattern panels to a square of blue card. Around the edge of each panel I added faux stitching.
Across the panel I added a strip of Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon. I also added a bow tied with the same ribbon. I used Stampin' Up 'Four Frames' stamp set to stamp the rose frame in Baja Breeze ink. I used Stampin' Up Decorative Label Punch to punch out the frame. To finish the card I added a gem to the bow.

Sneak Peek: Four Seasons and Great Outdoors
These cards feature two stamp sets that will be launched by Little Claire's on Thursday 26 May.
The two stamp sets are Great Outdoors and Four Seasons.
This card and box (above) was made using Great Outdoors stamp set. The background paper on the card and wrapping paper for the box were stamped using elements from the Great Outdoors stamp set. All the elements are separate so they allow you to create your own scenes.
These two cards (above and below) were made using Four Seasons stamp set. There's a stamp for each season so can be used throughout the year for other events such as Christmas and Easter. They would make ideal images for calenders.
Each stamp set is priced at £8.99 each. If you would like to purchase either of these stamps in advance, please phone 0151 342 5715. If you quote my blog when phoning you will receive a free gift!

Creativity! Club challenge
I was lucky enough to win the last Creativity! Club challenge on the DoCrafts website, with my handmade flower card.
I am now hosting the next challenge and this is my card for the challenge. The theme of the challenge is 'baby cards but not using blue or pink colours' so it would need to be suitable for a boy or a girl. I chose this theme as my first baby is due this Sunday (15th May) and I don't know if it's a boy or a girl so the theme seemed an obvious choice.
I have chosen to use green colour scheme for my card. I begun my stamping the Tatty Teddy image. This stamp is free on the current edition of Creativity! magazine. He was coloured in with ProMarkers. I added Glossy Accents to his nose. I mounted him onto panels of green and silver card.
I added a panel of green gingham paper by Forever Friends to a square card blank.
I punched a strip of white and pale green card with my Stampin' Up eyelet punch. I added these to the card. I covered a strip of silver card with green ribbon. I tied a bow with the same ribbon. I added this and a Forever Friends greeting tag to the card. To finish I added buttons and diamond gems.
