Simply Stampin' Challenge 7

This is my card for this week's Simply Stampin' blog challenge. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. The stamp set I used was 'Ornate Flowers' by Stampin' Up.

I begun by creating the main flower image. I used the flower stamp from the Ornate Flowers stamp set. I coloured in the stamp with Stampin' Up Markers and then stamped the image onto cream card. I mounted this onto green and burgundy card.

I stamping two pieces of cream card with the flower stamp to create background papers. I used Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz ink pads. I mounted the green patterned paper onto a piece of green card. Onto this I added strips of green card and burgundy ribbon. The main flower image was added with foam pads. I stamped the greeting in Rich Razzleberry. The stamps I used were Tiny Tags. I punched out the tags with the tag punch. I threaded ribbon through the tags and added them to the card. To finish the card I added small dots with a Rich Razzleberry marker.
