Passion for ProMarkers - week 55 challenge
This is my card for this weeks Passion for ProMarkers challenge blog,
The theme of the challenge was 'pink birthday', so I made this 'pink' birthday card for my Aunts 60th birthday which is today! Happy Birthday!
I stamped the fairy image using a Memento ink pad. I also separately stamped two of the flowers again so I could use them around the frame. The stamp was Thistledown Fairy by Lili of the Valley, www.liliofthevalley.co.uk. I coloured her in with ProMarkers. To finish and add highlights I added gold, green and diamond Stickles and to her wings gold Sakura pen.
I cut the fairy image and a pink frame out using Nestabilities. I added stitching to the pink frame using a white Sakura pen. I attached the separate flowers to the pink frame. To finish the frame I added a pink bow which I cut with my Cricut.
I cut two squares, one of pink and the other of white card. I used my Stampin' Up scalloped edge punch to punch two edges. On the white square I stamped flower shapes. The stamp was from Stampin' Up Simply Said stamp set. To the centre of the flowers and in the gaps between the flowers I added diamond Stickles.
I mounted the white panel on top of the pink panel. Before attached this to a square card blank I attached a strip of pink ribbon. To the ribbon I attached, with brads, a 60th birthday greeting by Craftwork Cards. This was all them attached to the card blank.
