In a while...

This is a birthday card I made for my uncle using Little Claire's In a while stamp. I stamped the image with a Memento ink pad and coloured it in with Copics. I used the Happy Birthday sentiment stamps from Little Claire's Lazy Days stamp set to stamp the background wording and sentiment using a white ink pad.  I mounted the coloured image and sentiment onto kraft card before adding to the card with foam pads. I tied linen thread through two green button before attaching to the card.

Little Claire currently have a offer on the Claire's Fab Four Men - All 4 Men for £15.00! which includes the 'In a while' stamp. For more details please see the Little Claire website.

Cheers!

I used the new Fizzy Moon 'Cheers' stamp for this card which I bought from the Glitter Pot. I love the Fizzy Moon stamps and a male themed stamp is always very handy for those tricky male cards. I stamped the image with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad and coloured it in with ProMarkers. I added a little Star Dust Stickles to the beer froth.

I cut out the coloured image and the dark blue frame with Nestabilities labels dies.  I added panels of gingham paper and dark blue card to a square card blank. I cut two slits in the coloured image and threaded through a strip of dark blue card before adding to the card blank.

I added a circle sentiment from Craftwork Cards. To finish I added white Card Candi and faux stitching with a white and black pen.

Roses...

This is my card for The Artistic Stamper blog challenge. The theme of the challenge is to use your favourite stamp. The stamp set I have used for this card is the beautiful Botanical 3 stamp set from The Artistic Stamper. I just love the large rose stamp from the Botanical 3 set. I used the stamp to create the rose background.

I used a Night of Navy ink pad and Old Olive marker pen both from Stampin' Up to colour the large rose stamp. I stamped the image onto cream card to create the background pattern for my card. I used a blending tool with the Night of Navy and Baja Blue ink pads to add the distresses edges.

For the sentiment I used The Artistic Stamper's Journaling Words #1 Love stamp. I stamped this in blue and cut it out. I die cut two label shapes with Spellbinders Nestabilities. I added two holes and threaded ribbon through the labels before adding to the patterned background.

I attached the patterned panel onto a square card covered with cream card. I stamped a smaller rose and added this and the sentiment with foam pads. To finish I added a cream faux pearl.

My first two cards use the Changing Tree - Education stamp set. The set contains six stamps that can be used separately or with the Changing Tree truck. I have used the stamps to create a tree (first card) and also to create background patterns on both cards. The circle sentiment and rosette stamps is from my Georgina's Rosettes which I designed for Little Claire.

My final two cards use the Changing Tree - Man stamp set. Again I have used the stamps to create a tree and to stamp a background pattern. The circle sentiment is from the Dictionary Definitions stamp set.

More new stamp launched from Little Claire today! The sets are Garden Shelves and Changing Tree - Easter. The Changing Tree - Easter stamps is a set of six stamps that can be used with the original Changing Tree stamp set to create trees or separately.

These are four sample cards I have made with the new stamp sets. My first two cards used the Garden Shelves stamp.

For the first card I used ProMarkers to colour the stamped image. The watering can is also included in the stamp set. I stamped this separately and added it with foam pads.  I also used it to create a patterned background. The sentiment tag is from Little Claire's Little Beauties - Tags Stamps set.

For my second card I used ink from ink pad and a blending pen to colour the stamped image. It gives a much softer finish. The circle sentiment is Little Claire's Dictionary Definitions.

My next two cards used the Changing Tree - Easter stamps.

I have used the tree trunk from the original Changing Tree stamp set and then stamped the new Easter embellishment around the tree. I cut out the tree image and attached it to ovals of patterned paper and card. Again I used the Little Claire's Little Beauties - Tags Stamps set for the sentiment. To finish I added a ribbon bow and flowers.

My final card today used the new Changing Tree - Easter stamps to create a patterned background. I have used a yellow and orange colour scheme. The bunting was stamped using Little Claire's Bunting stamp set.

Duck mum

This is a cute tag card I have made using the Duck mum stamp from Little Claire.
I am entering this card into Lisa B Designs monthly blog challenge. The theme of the challenge is 'Spring'. I thought the chicks and the bright colours were ideal for a spring theme.

The card blank I used is cream Tag card available from Little Claire.  Although the Duck mum stamp is just one stamp I stamped each duck separately onto a rectangle of smooth white card using a Tuxedo Black ink pad. I coloured the images with ProMarkers. I mounted each rectangle onto dark brown card before adding to the tag card.

The tag sentiment is a stamp Little Beauties - Tags Stamps from Little Claire. I stamped this onto white card before colouring and then adding to dark brown card. To finish the card I added ribbon and faux stitching.

Little Claire blog challenge - DT card

This is my DT card for the new Little Claire blog challenge which starts today. For this challenge we have a sketch (below) and a theme of flowers.

The challenge prize Changing Tree set of stamps and two brand new sets, 'Education' & 'Baking'!

For my DT card I used two PomPom Dahlia and Little Beauties - Tags Stamps both by Little Claire.

I stamped the Dahlia flower head three times onto dark pink card. I cut out sections from each flower head and attached them to a stamped and ProMarker'ed image with foam pads. I also used the PomPom Dahlia stamp to create patterned papers. I stamped in both white and dark pink ink pads onto dark pink card.

I used Little Beauties - Tags Stamps for the sentiment. To finish the card I added a ribbon bow, faux stitching and highlight to the flower head with a Sakura pen.

Little Claire's first Stamp Club Set for 2013

Happy New Year to everyone!

As usual the start of a new month means the new Stamp Club set from Little Claire. This months set is called Cherish, Hugs, Dream. The stamp set includes a beautiful border of flowers & butterflies, a large swirly butterfly, a small butterfly and three individual button greetings ('cherish' 'hugs' 'dream').

These are two cards I made with the stamp set:

The card base is a cream Tag Card available from Little Claire. I used ProMarkers to colour the stamped image. There are step-by-step instruction to make this card included with the Monthly Stamp Club set.

For my second card I used the individual stamps to create a pattern which I used inside the card. I cut a aperture in the front of the card using Nesties dies. I also stamp more butterflies which I cut out and attached to the front of the card.

For more details about the Stamp Club and to see other DT's cards please see Little Claire's website.
